Hurricane Camille Memorial

Yesterday, my buddy-hubby and I went to Hurricane Camille Memorial. This historic site is located in Biloxi, Mississippi . If you will visit the casino hotels in Biloxi, try to see this historic site and get to know a little bit of history of this place.

It was in the year 1969 that the gulf coast was hit by a category 5 hurricane and Biloxi was a direct hit. The damage was so devastating in fact, this place tried to rise up again yet Katrina came in 1995. The struggles of people who live in this area are so tremendously admirable. Despite of natures angry blow, some people co-exist in this very beautiful area. How beautiful? Imagine a beach with white sand with so many birds flying in flock like this. As for me, I really don't wanna be here during Hurricane season. When I look up the sky during rainy day, it scares me already. Maybe because I read too much of disasters in connection to this place history.
