#Excedrin : Relief Comes Quick

It's weekend once again which other people are looking forward to. Not me. Considering that I stay at home and work at home, everyday is the same. Nothing to look forward to really. Can't even tell which day it is LOL. Unlike before, when I was working, I really wanted to pull the weekend to relax and have a "me time" without thinking about work. Honestly, I like the latter, working and waiting for day-off. Anytime, after selling the condo in Orlando, I will start looking for a job.

So today, I woke up feeling sick. I feel that my eyes were heavy and felt an excruciating pain. I know that migraine will attack soon. I don't want to be sick this week so; I took 1 tablet. I slept and rest for two hours and when I woke up, I was so hungry and the pain ... gone. Thanks to #Excedrin. The relief comes quick!

It is best that whatever things you own, especially the most expensive ones you should purchase an insurance. Twice that happens to us, insurance saves us big-time. The appliances we bought broke after a year and since we bought the insurance, we were refunded with the full amount saving us almost $700.

There are sites that give out quotes so; the choice is yours according to how you can afford to pay. Take a look at don allred insurance quotes to have an idea.

#HelloKeurig : #Keurig 2.0 - K550 is Here

When #Influenster sent me an email saying "I'm In", I was truly overjoyed! Then my excitement went a notch higher when I realized that they are sending me the latest model of #Keurig coffee maker! Well, #HelloKeurig !This product is one my most favorite #freebies simply because I do like and admire this innovative and smart machine. I finally own one and I am so happy about it!

The husband was waiting anxiously and when FedEx parked outside the house, he was there to received it with a grin on his face. The huge box arrived in perfect condition and we were both extremely excited to check what's inside the box. The most awaited part was brewing the K-Carafe. Of course, there was a little bit of assembly to do. Super easy! Besides, there is the manual that's easy to follow. I happily set up my new #Keurig in few minutes.

When I shared my joys of having a new Keurig 2.0 in my Instagram, one liker said that this machine will not work with K-cups. I corrected the liker that this Keurig 2.0 is the FIRST brewing system that can brew a cup (single cup) and a carafe (4 cups). Isn't that exciting? One touch and it reads each portion pack perfectly! That is a smart innovation from Keurig. That's perfect brew every time!

The Keurig 2.0 - K550 is sold for $199.99.

Features:

Extra Large 80 oz. Water Reservoir
In the box, the filter pack is sealed and after following the simple instructions, I was able to put together the filter into the water reservoir. I added water above the minimum level and I'm all set to brew anytime I want.

- Large Color Touch Display
The color display has 4 colors to choose from (red, white, blue and green) and I set mine to the latter color since I love green. The display will show the time with Analog or Digital choices.

- Programmable Clock
The time can either be set in 12 hr or 24 hr and easy to set.

- Strength Control
This is a smart machine since coffee lovers can now choose a strong coffee with one touch. Using the K-cup, there are 4 sizes to select from: 4, 6, 8, and 10 oz. I can live with a cup each brew time but, I choose the 10 oz.

- Hot Water on Demand
One touch and I get to enjoy a cup of hot water using my Keurig 2.0.

- Customizable Night-Light in Water Reservoir
I love the fact that I can use the water reservoir of my Keurig 2.0 as night light and with 4 colors to choose from.

- Water Filter Handle and Cartridge
Easy to assemble.

Testing to brew using the Keurig 2.0 - K550 is fun especially when they include the following:

Starter Carafe

- A Water Filter Starter kit and a Filter

- Variety of 6 K-Cup® Packs
I was truly delighted that the package includes K-cups and the flavors are : Italian Roast, Donut House Coffee, Nantucket Blend, English Breakfast, Pike Place Roast and Hazelnut.

2 K- Carafe™ Packs
I received sets of 4 with the following varieties : Green Mountain Coffee French Roast , Breakfast Blend and French Vanilla; and The Original Donut Shop Regular. The other box has 8 packs of French Roast, a Green Mountain Coffee brand.

I've been using my Keurig 2.0 - K550 since the day it arrived and been using the coffee they included in the box. So far, I am thrilled and contended.

What's new with Keurig 2.0 ?
It brews a K-cup as well as K-Carafe. This brewing system is the first to brew both types of packs. Let's be honest, if you have the older systems which can only do one function at a time, wouldn't it be great to own one of this new innovation? Not only that, the Keurig 2.0-K550 is designed to read the lid of each packs to brew the perfect beverage every time. Now, that's a smart brewing system!

To sum it up, since this is my first Keurig coffee maker, I truly love it. In the kitchen, we have stainless steel appliances and Keurig 2.0 design is a perfect compliment; so gorgeous and sexy. I am hoping that as I continue to use this machine, I will be able to find my favorite coffee and other beverages in K-cups and K-Carafe.

I received all these products complimentary for testing purposes. I am not compensated on this post. All opinions are my own.

My Favorite Chinese Restaurant in Titusville, FL : #BuffetVillage

Oh Boy! Honestly, as I was downloading the pictures in this blog, I had to stop writing and head to the kitchen. My eyes are looking at this yummy pictures and I need to eat! It's now almost 10AM and usually, I am not hungry until maybe 12nn. That's me, I don't look for food but, if I did ... I need to just feed my tummy coz the growling won't stop, LOL!

Okay, I am back ... oh this sushi looks so delicious. I found out that I don't just go grab a sushi from a Chinese Restaurant buffet that we go too. I usually look around the place and if it is tidy enough. Not all Chinese Buffet's are pleasant to dine. Goodness no! In Titusville, Florida, the Buffet Village is my favorite. It is new and it has maintain the cleanliness. This is so far my favorite buffet restaurant in the area.

The price is right and the sign is visible for everyone before they go to the front desk to be seated. No hidden charges and the food selections are great. When it comes to the taste, I would say, everything tastes delicious. The servers are approachable and friendly. Few of them can engage a casual conversation.

They have crawfish here too and some clams. I usually have them first as my appetizer. Most of the time, their egg drop soup has a good taste. I enjoyed a bowl of egg drop soup and I have it together with a steamed rice.

The ambiance of the Buffet Village is alright and I love to be seated by the booth. The table arrangements are very good. It gives enough room for everyone to pass by. Most of the time, locals flocked here with family and friends.

Sometimes busses to/fro the Kennedy Space Center tours came here too. It will be a pleasant dining experience for them for sure. If you come here and so hungry, man ... you will enjoy the food in a heartbeat!

The Buffet Village is located near Target in Titusville. It is conveniently and centrally located in Titusville area. This Chinese Buffet is not crowded even if it is full with diners. If you happen to pass by the Space Coast area and you are hungry, you should come and check out this place.

These are my choices of dessert if I need to eat sweets. I love the friend plantain, a sort of beignet and an apple pastry. I can only eat one of each kind and that's it. I am not a dessert kind' a person so; if I can eat this, great ... I got my money back!

Look at this beautiful thing. How delicious is that huh?

This is hubby's choice of dessert. Awww .... too sweet except the water melon. How about you? What is your favorite dessert?

Do you eat clams and egg drop soup too?

Well, I hope you can visit this place when you are visiting Titusville and nearby area. I do recommend this place. You will surely like it!
