Best Western Hotel in Brooksfield

I was really looking forward to travel Missouri and it was realized last October. For almost 5 years in the US, I don't know how many times I traveled the coast of Florida, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana. The view along the scenic route was awesome! The marvelous sunset and sunshine by the beach and by the Gulf, I've seen all that almost everyday. Don't get me wrong! The view to most places that I've lived are perfect. Yet, I miss to see the mountain, LOL. When hubby cancelled our flight to Missouri to take a road trip, we both were excited. I will be posting here our escapades ... one blog at a time. For now, let me share to you about this hotel in Brooksfield, Missouri.

This is a Best Western Hotel along 28622 Highway 11, Brooksfield, Missouri 64628. We stayed in Room 200 and this room has a big glass window facing the only big store in the area, WalMart. We stayed here for one night but, we enjoyed our stay here because our room is super squeaky clean and , the customer service is great.

The rate was $84.59 but, I can't find anything to complain. Towels, bathroom, the complimentary breakfast, and Wi_fi speed are perfect. The queen size bed is comfortable. It was heaven after two days of road trip. If you travel towards Kansas City, you should re-charged your strength. Stay at Brooksfield for a day and explore Disney's hometown Marceline which is just few minutes drive. See Disney's childhood playground, his dreaming tree, his old house and his barn.

You should visit the Main Street USA at Marceline and see Disney's original memorabilia at Disney Museum. When you are tired, stay in this hotel, you will be refreshed when you wake up in the morning. Take this advice and you will not regret. If you travel far, I doubt if you can see a nice place to sleep for the night. Tell the nice lady at the front desk, I recommend this hotel for you. Enjoy!

A Night Stay at Motel 6 at St Robert, Missouri

Our travel and road trip for this year ended last October when we traveled to Missouri as far as Kansas City. It was only a week but, we crossed 6 states: Florida, Georgia, Tennesse, Kentucky, Illinois and Missouri. It was fun and exciting travel and since we had no hotel reservations, we only stopped when we were tired and ready to hit the bed. One of the unexpected places that we checked in was this Motel 6. We had to find a place to sleep for it was already 11:30 at night so; we saw this along the highway. It was our first time to sleep in a motel 6 but, this place is not bad at all. It was newly renovated, 3-storey, clean and nearby to restaurants. The location is just perfect.

What matters for me is the cleanliness and the sheets should smell good. The staffs are friendly and courteous. The price was a bit high for this type of motel/hotel but, we sleep good for the night. Here is the address: Motel 6 545 Highway Z on the I-44 at Missouri Avenue, Exit #161 in St Robert MO 65584.

Dirty Hotel Bathroom

Have you been to a 5 star hotel and was disappointed because the room was dusty and nasty? Take a look at this toilet. It looks clean but, as I look closer:It was nasty! Dust must be there for months and some hairs too. YULKS!As I look up, I saw this:Not a good sight huh? Here's more:See the hair on the door? The white stuffs? I don't know what are those. Then, the faucet:That's water and soap residues. Nasty huh? I just use the towel and wipe it myself. The mirror? YEP! It was dirty on the side with a bonus hair, nasty! Anyway, I give credit to the staff who did the laundry. The towels are very clean and smells "clean" and this hotel provides enough towels for the guest. I am so happy about that.

Traveling to Central New Jersey

One of our friends who work in an airline company was offered for an early retirement by the company and she gladly took it. It is her preference to retire early to pursue her passion in her business. My husband was thinking of asking her a buddy pass so we can fly to Central New Jersey after October. A year ago, she gave us a buddy pass from Orlando to Mississippi for just $200 for both of us. Good deal for backpacker travelers like us huh?

Anyway, my husband and I are planning to visit few of the historical sites in New Jersey such as the Public Square or The Bill of Rights Arch. We love traveling and we wanted to see the Arch in Perth Amboy. We are both nationalistic so; by traveling to the historical places, we will learn by heart the importance of these places in our nation's history. The state of New Jersey is significant in the US history as the first state to ratify the Bill of Rights. Not only that, the Arch is a symbol that represents the true spirit of life and purpose of the history of our country. We would love to have a souvenir photo taken with the "Arch" as the background.

We would also like to check out Saint Peter's Church which is known as the oldest Episcopal Parish in New Jersey. Hubby and I are drawn to the charm and character of the buildings of Proprietary House and Kearny Cottage. I already check out the hotel which we love to stay in New Jersey. The $118 cheapest rate offered by Hyatt Regency Hotel is truly a deal breaker! I love the rate of this glorious hotel. The distance from Perth Amboy to Hyatt Regency Hotel is less than 14 miles which is awesome! Well, I am looking forward for this trip.

Hotel and Car Rental Coupon Codes

It is a fact that we are experiencing economic crisis but, it will not hinder us from traveling and have a good time with our family, right? We work hard and save. Once or twice a year, we should take a vacation with our family and love one. And that's what we are doing. When we have the chance, we take road trips, do cruising and soon travel to Europe. It will be my first time and my husband will be my tour guide. He lived in Spain and Germany few years back and he can speak and understand German good. Traveling is expensive but, if I can find an Expedia coupon code 2012, that is great savings for sure.

If hubby and I can find a discount for our hotel stay, it would be a great help. Traveling to Europe is expensive so; if I can find good deals and promo codes, we can stretch our stay. I did check out Deals2.com and I found a lot of amazing deals in this Website. You should check it out today. If you are looking for Expedia coupons, the links above are good resources to find promotional bargains and hundreds of discount deals. Check it out!

Hard Rock Buffet in Biloxi

This is Hard Rock in Biloxi, Mississippi, one of my favorite places to dine and hang out. When we live in Mississippi, I was also working on a night shift in one of the casinos in the area. I went home at 7AM so, cooking for breakfast was not my routine. We usually eat in the Palace or Beau Rivage for breakfast, I then took a nap, and wakes up for lunch at HardRock or the Isle. It's about 5 minutes drive from our home. Went home to take few hours of sleep after lunch then in the evening, we will have fine dining in one of the restaurants in the city. We eat out a lot! The food in the casino is always affordable. How affordable? If you visit HardRock every Wednesdays and Fridays before 6 PM, it's less than $9/person. It's a half price if you avail an early bird in other days. Food trip in Mississippi is totally great!

Isle in Biloxi

When we had our vacation in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, we are so excited to visit the restaurants and the buffet in the area as well as do the casino hopping. There are at least 9 casinos in Biloxi which is just 5 minutes from Ocean Springs. The pictures below were taken at the ISLE hotel and casino. Cruising the Coast is actually scheduled this week. Participants from all over the state travel to the Gulf Coast and display their vintage cars on the highway. You will be blown away with how That maybe the reason why Woodie, the car below was moved to the main lobby of the Isle Casino. Hmmm...just maybe. Supposedly, this car was displayed in the garage entrance but they move it.
It was a beautiful day an hour earlier but, look at the weather. It was so windy and it looks like a big storm!
You guess it right, that's water flooded the entrance of the hotel.
This is the left side of the lobby and those people were heading out towards the garage.
That is the bar at the entrance of the Isle. This is a good place to watch the NFL games and on the left side is the casino.
Rainy afternoon and so breezy! It is a passing storm and after an hour, the sun shines so brightly again.
