This is my classroom in the Philippines.
* has Pink and white curtains
* some educational posters on the wall
* got a tv and a dvd player a project by parents last year
* has 3 rows with at least 12 kids in each
* some cheap ceiling fans donated by the parents
* has a net for protection from outside bugs
As you can see the table paint is fading, I always repaint it each year (month of May) using my personal budget. Usually, Public School Teachers like me do beautify our classrooms by ourselves. In my 12 years, I never received any new materials from the government funds. This table and chairs are 1982 projects. I added 4 long tables to accommodate 40 kids inside. To be fair though, our school were given some new blackboards, chairs and tables from government but it won't supply every classroom problems. I remember last year, we got 2 sets of tables and chairs which is good for 2 classrooms . Most of the Public School Teachers learn initiative and we are forced to use our own resources to make our classroom conducive to learning.
