My husband woke me up at quarter to four dawn time on August 30, 2012. I was half asleep when I nod as he informed me that he will be going to Nicol Park to watch the United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket carrying NASA’s (RSBSP) Radiation Belt Storm Probes. 
I was too sleepy to go with him though its just 5 minutes away. The TV was on and I heard the command center busy checking the final info for the lift off.
At 4AM, I went to the living room and watch the launch on TV and yep, I took these pictures from the TV screen. It launched smoothly and I can feel our place tremble. We are used to that every time there's a rocket launch and the sonic boom was really loud.
