I guess I have to tell you that I don't live in Florida anymore. It's been 4 years since we lived in Mississippi and we were just 3 minutes away from the beach. This place is beautiful and I cant wait to show and share with y'all some of the pictures I took.

Road Trips and Music
While we were driving
to Florida, I was using my Pandora app to listen to music. Well, I don't have a great signal all the time and it was frustrating. All our gadgets have limited files of music and it's my fault though. I was too lazy to download songs and I always rely on my Mobile WiFi. In road trips, it's not good at all.

Funny that I took for granted simple stuff like that. Things like sports armband, roland cymbal mount, charger mount etc which are not necessary at a given time and eventually will be important in a unique situation. Anyway, I was kind of hoping that we renew our Satellite Radio account because it's the best for road trips. Well, we might do that.

Tables Beach Along South Atlantic Avenue in Patrick AFB
It is Sunday today so; obviously we went to church early in the morning. Hubby already made plans that after the church, we will go to the mall. Most of the department stores in Merritt Island Mall opens at 11 AM so; we decided to drive down the beach and this time, heading to Satellite Beach.

We passed by Ron Jon's and when we reach the Patrick Air Force Base North Housing, we decided to stop there. At the front of this place is a nice beach open for public called Tables Beach, 45th Space Wing, United States Air Force.

There were a lot of people on the beach. Sunbathers, surfers and there were two who had jet skies. Glad that we have our beach chairs with shade on it so; even the sun was a scorcher, the shade of our beach chairs truly a relief from the scorching heat.

The waves are big but, swimmers enjoyed it. We were just enjoying the breeze. We decided that later in the afternoon, we will drive down the Atlantic Avenue again and just see the sunset. I will surely share tons of photos. Thanks for stopping by.

The Cocoa Beach Pier in Florida
If you plan to visit Cocoa Beach then, check out Cocoa Beach Pier, the view behind me. The parking space in Cocoa Pier is $10 but, if you don't want to pay that amount, check out the parking meter on every street. It is .25 cents for 10 minutes but, make sure that it is working right or else, you will get a ticket.
It's in the 50's today and breezy so; no one is in the water. On a nice and sunny weather, this beach is fully pack of locals and tourist. The end of the Cocoa Beach Pier is Mai Tiki Bar and in order to enjoy the this place, you need to pay an entrance of $1. When there are storms, this place is close and the entrance is waived. 800 foot long fishing pier
If you love surfing, Cocoa Beach is the place to check out. Food trip? The Pier has 5 restaurants and 4 bars such as Atlantic Ocean Grille, Marlins Bar and Grill, The Boardwalk, and Oh Shucks Seafood Bar so; you will never get hungry here. There's gift shops and free live musical entertainment.
The pier offers beach rentals, fresh water showers as well as regulation beach volleyball courts and lifeguards are available year round. Hubby and I usually come here for the food and just enjoys watching the surfers.
The photo above was taken along the side of the meter parking area along Cocoa Beach Pier parking lot.
Just an hour drive from Orlando, Cocoa Beach is a beautiful place for swimming, fishing, surfing and ... sunbathing.

Beautiful View by the Gulf
Look at the view, gorgeous isn't it? This was taken in Ocean Springs Mississippi at the Front Beach. The body of water is facing the Gulf of Mexico and the Pier is called Chester M. McPhearson, Jr. When we live in Mississippi, hubby and I frequently visit this place. During my day off, we would go crabbing and fishing in this area.
The huge building across the water is the Isle Hotel and Casino in Biloxi Mississippi (see the photo below). Anyway, check out the cute and colorful car below. I was taking photos of the Gulf when this car pass by.
I miss this place but, right here where we live, we have this beautiful view as well.

Photos in Picasa
I saw these
memorable pictures in my Picasa Album taken almost 4 years ago in Ocean Springs Mississippi. I remember that hubby and I always take the time to drive down East Beach and Front Beach to watch the sunset and look at the big and beautiful houses by the beach. I love feeding the birds so; I have bread crumbs for their treats as well. I miss this place. We are both contemplating to go there for Mardi Gras celebration on February. We don't know yet. Come what may I guess.

The picture below was taken at Downtown Orlando along Lake Eola. I was with a friend and we just hang out one weekend to see an activity which I cannot remember what it was. As we walk nearby the waters, we saw some people feeding the birds so; we hang out a bit to feed the birds too.

Time flies so fast and it just dawned on me that I am in the US for almost half a decade. When I decided to migrate, I told myself that I will take time to rest (after working for 12 years) and explore the places that I wanted to visit. I did that and this year, I need to decide what career path to follow. I am well-rested and now is the right time to work hard, earn and save for the future. That's all for now and thank you for stopping by.

Along the Gulf Coast
Hubby and I love to hang out together and we love road trips, hanging on the beach, dining and do simple stuffs of life. He took an early retirement from work and I sort of taking a break from work. Teaching for 12 years and working a year in a fast-paced company made my energy drain.
I love my life and working online as a side-line gives me the freedom to control my time. I can work anytime I want. No boss. No stress. No hassle. Hubby is my only close friend that I can hang out longer LOL.
When we live in the Gulf Coast, we love to have a picnic on the beach. I blog anywhere I am too because I have my USB connect all the time so; with or without Wifi, I have my own line to connect the Net. I was blogging on the beach while my husband is fishing for trout with friends.
When they go boating on the Bayou, I just want to stay by the park and blog while enjoying a 180 degree view of the Gulf of Mexico.
I miss this bench and miss this place. Yet, we live near the beach right now and life is so much better. I am still blogging and we might go fishing anytime soon. Food, fishing, boating, air boats, Kennedy Space Center, beach facing the Atlantic Ocean, sunsets and sunshine.... just awesome blessings and I am so grateful to the Almighty who provides these good things to us. I give glory to God for all the blessings.

Gulf Coast Mardi Gras Parade
I am a believer that God provides. If a person practiced the art of compassion and care for others, everything will be put in place accordingly. Hubby and I had been planning to see the Mardi Gras this year. I was back from the Philippines in 2011 so, we missed Mardi Gras that year. This time we will be going! When we checked out the hotel rates in Biloxi, it was a bit higher especially for the Mardi Gras season. But, Isle of Capri in Biloxi provides us a complimentary stay in their hotel for three nights. That's an awesome surprise and a blessing in disguise right?
Anyway, did you know that Mississippi Gulf Coast hosted more than 20 Mardi Gras parades every year? I saw the Ocean Springs, Pass Christian, Long Beach, D'Iberville, and Biloxi Mardi Gras parades and I'm telling you, the events are so much fun especially when your family and friends are there with you.
This event is always an exciting season for the locals and the visitors. The elaborate decoration of the floats brought so much excitement and the crowd loves the treasures thrown at them.
Aside from the trinkets, beads, moon pies, logoed cups, stuffed animals, candies and chocolates, there are other exciting items which on lookers anxiously waiting to catch.
I love the D'Iberville and Biloxi Mardi Gras parades because there are so many participants. That would mean more amazing and extravagant floats with "krewes" giving out more beads and more exciting items. Are you coming? I will see you there everyone!

Fort Walton Beach View
We were driving down the scenic route from Mississippi towards Florida and before sunset, we arrive in Fort Walton Area. We decided to stop and booked a night stay in one of the hotels facing the Gulf. The picture below is my husband.
The beach of Fort Walton is so calm at early morning. The white sand and the landscape down below our hotel is truly amazing!
Because I had a migraine on this day, I did not go to the beach area. We might come here again next time and spend a night or two. This is truly a beautiful place to unwind and have a good vacation.
Well, you can see that the water is really inviting, the sand is crystal white and the area is so clean.

Ocean Springs Beachside
Oh I love this place in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. After work, hubby and I love to drive thru the beach area passing the front beach and the east side. When I came home, I go to bed and would wake up after lunch and hubby would invite me to have a picnic in this area then, back home to have my nap before I go to work in my night shift.
This picture was taken before sunset though. Isn't it awesome and so calm? Living in this state is so different here in Orlando. You would enjoy the nature, the serenity of living, family-oriented people around and the simplicity of normal living. Apart from the chaotic life in the city. This beauty is what i miss!

Opol Beach Resort
The picture below was taken at Opol, Misamis Oriental Philippines specifically in Marbella Beach area. The place was crowded for so many Christmas Party gatherings at this time. Luckily, I was able to attend the Christmas get-together party by my XU Library Kapamilya for this year. The water on the beach was so inviting yet, I chosed to stay on the cottage to mingle with my long-lost friends/co-workers in the library.

The View of the Beach
Here are the pictures that I took last Monday when we had our crabbing activity. As I said, I enjoyed taking pictures and not not the crabbing activity...LOL! I do not like crabs, even king crabs because evertime I chow them, I get sick afterwards. But, we sure did had fun when my buddy Emily caught the huge crab. We really screamed at the top of our lungs and the people who were fishing and crabbing there enjoyed our childlike reactions. Anyway, just enjoy the pictures everyone.

After the Storm
There was a T-Storm Warning earlier today in Jackson County. After the storm, my Father-in-law wanted to use his binoculars on the beach. I went with them because it is good to see the surroundings after the rain, right? Here are the views. The shots were not so nice because I am only using my cellphone.
