IKEA Home Furnishings: Restaurant

It is always good to shop when your stomach is not growling for food right? At IKEA Home Furnishings, shooping and food is a good combination. Here is a North Atlantic Saithe crusted white fish served with mashed potatoes and vegetables. This is only $4.99 and my husband likes it especially the fish.Here is the half-rack baby back ribs with fries and corn bread. It is priced at 6.99 and if this is my plate, I can't finish it all. This portion is for big guys so, I think I only ordered this meal once. The ribs are so delicious. Sometimes, IKEA gives FREE breakfast and usually, this particular meal: scrambled eggs, bacon, and potatoes.
Honestly, I enjoyed the food in the restaurant but, I am more excited in window shopping. The display of their interior home design is totally awesome. You should visit IKEA store near your neighborhood. When you are tired roaming the second floor, you can check out the Exit Cafe and Bistro and have a bite of their affordable hotdogs, pizzas and chips.

Quarter For Shopping Carts

Of all the grocery stores in Orlando, ALDI is different. This store is focus on "honest to goodness savings" well, that's the concept----> products should be affordable. Which I admit, their products are affordable. I also noticed that this store has few manpower inside the store but, they keep it clean, systematic and when you need assistance, you can actually call someone for help ASAP.Using the shopping cart is quiet unique because you have to insert a coin to use one and when you are done, you have to return it in the cart area to get back your quarter. Pretty neat because most of the shoppers doesn't want to leave a quarter behind. The parking lot is clutter-free of shopping carts and Aldi don't have to pay another employee to collect carts on the parking lot. A huge cut of salary budget thus, having to sell affordable products are not that hard to accomplish! My husband loves their 2% milk because it is only $1.79 a gallon compared to other grocery store which is $3.49, huge difference huh? The meat on display is a bit higher though but, when they say FRESH, it is really fresh and the meat is so tender. Dairy and meat section here is our most favorite, how about you?

Lazy Saturday

Hubby and I had nothing to do earlier today really. We just waited for the Brighthouse cable guy to fix the HDMI TV connection in our living room because it has no signal since Thursday. The connection was suddenly off after that big storm in Florida last Thursday. Anyway, I took the time to do the laundry and hang out in our Florida room area.Re-arranging the furniture's and do some household chores was all I did all day. When the cable guy came and fix the connection, hubby and I were already lazy to do anything. But, staying inside the house more than half day was boring. We then decided to do some grocery at BJ's, our favorite wholesale club. Then, we moved to another store, just window shopping. But, when I passed by in the bicycle section, I saw a bike that fancy my liking. Hubby bought it for me! Lazy Saturday and we went shopping at the rush of an impulse. I don't regret it really! I like my bike and looking forward to ride on it and enjoy it for many days.

The Places I Hang Out

This is my favorite convenient store for my little grocery errand. Very convenient because this store is just right at the first corner of our place. I like to visit this store very week because they have selected products on sale and its really a big savings. One time, I was able to buy 5 cases of Mountain Dew (12pcs) for only $10. It's like $2 each. It will take patience really, you need to read and get the coupon inserted on the Sunday paper or at the entrance of the store.

I like Chilis Restaurant and I like their food. Usually, one order is enough for the both us with my husband...LOL. Anyway, since I can't eat all my order, I always need a box to take it home with me.

Walmart is the place where you can buy anything at a lower price. We have our grocery twice a week and even if I don't use coupon, the price is just about right.

Sometimes my husband and I loves to eat fish or taco so, we love to drive all the way to Waterford Lakes and dine in here. Even though, we have it nearby the house, we still love this area in that place.

If we need something for the home, we love to visit this places first. I was able to find good buys in the apparel section at Kohl's too. As for my "Balikbayan Box", I bought some things on it from these stores.

Rouses Food Market In Ocean Springs

I don't see Rouses Food Market in Orlando. Though I miss Aldie Store and Save A Lot, this place has this store which I love to visit because their prices are so affordable. I find the prices of their seafood products are so much cheaper than the other store nearby. How about you? What is your favorite store aside from Walmart?
