It's A Small World at #MagicKingdom in #DisneyWorld

Magic Kingdom is known to be the most magical place on earth. When I am here, it truly feels magical. This is one of the four popular theme parks in Disney World located in Orlando, Florida and is actually as old as I am. For more than four decades, this fairy tale land has drawn millions of guests from all over the world. I should say, Magic Kingdom is the most popular among the four theme parks. The iconic symbol of Magic Kingdom, Cinderella Castle.

I am lucky that Disney World is just an hour away from where we lived so basically, just in-my-backyard. Most Floridians purchased a yearly pass so that anytime we feel like it, we can go and wander in Disney World. We do have a yearly pass and when hubby and I went to Disney, we love to pick few attractions, have a meal, take photos and head home. That's fun and we are never exhausted from walking around the huge parks. Okay, on this visit, we tried the whimsical boat ride in #ItsASmallWorld.

On each row/seats, it can occupy 4 guests comfortably. Children would love this attraction since it is truly delightful to hear the music which you and I knows by heart. Assuming you did. I learned this song in my 5th grade during a Girls Scout Jamboree.

This is only a 10-minute ride towards the Seven Seaways Waterways which is truly an exciting and fun ride. Moms and Dads would probably enjoy this ride as well coz it relaxes their feet from walking around the park. Personally, I love this ride because it is relaxing and the music is wonderful to hear over and over again, hehehe.

This is the first glimpse of the entrance as the boat sail to the happiest short cruise ever. The ride is slow and once we are in, the music fills the air and the sound of the water lingers in my ears.

Inside are colorful decors which reminded me of the rides that I took in Epcot-Mexico. If you have been there, this ride is similar to Gran Fiesta Tour starring The Three Caballeros.

While my eyes are feasting with these colorful decors, deep down inside of me, I sing-a-long with the music. You know what's good about this ride too? When you visit Disney and it's 90 degrees outside, oh my goodness, this place is heaven too. It smells good too hehehe.

If you are an elementary grade teacher or maybe a crafty mom, seeing these displays will definitely inspire you. Take this place as an inspiration for your crafty ideas.

Here is a cute sight. The display is so vibrant with multi-colored backdrop and these are made out of paper-mache', how cool huh? There are almost 300 dolls dressed in their traditional attire and singing It's A Small World. How delightful it is to hear the song in your own native language huh? Well, I was trying to listen if I can hear the song in Filipino but, I think I missed hearing it.

The backdrop display features 7 continents. Check out the photo above, can you guess where this is? Other places that you will probably recognize are the following:

Did you know that Robert B. Sherman and Richard M. Sherman wrote the song “It’s A Small World” song? It’s about peace and brotherhood as well as cultural unity and harmony. The Sherman Brothers were aiming to write a song that can be easily translated to many languages … then came, “It’s A Small World”.

I tell you what, don't blink coz each area is truly adorable. colorful and fun to see.

Here, it looks like a 3D. The splash of colors and the artistic design crafts with glitters and some of the materials are made from fabric truly are awesome to see. These are such a delightful sights to enjoy!

The 10 minute ride seemed dragging but, I was so happy about it because this place is fun and I don't want to end it anyway. It is like looking or sailing to a gigantic book and just enjoying the child-like arts and style. The bold colors are attractive; the geometric designs are just awesome and adorable to look at.

Each display is meticulously assembled/created to the last detail. I love the flower display, the children of the world dolls which by the way, when it comes to their dress, authentic fabrics were used. How fascinating right?

While these dolls are singing in their native language, they are dancing or moving too. It's fun to watch.

While seeing these displays, some places have spectacular designs which reflects their culture. I wonder how it feels when other guests can't see the representation of their country?

Towards the end of the ride, there was a message display which says "Good-Bye" and written in different languages. This attraction is truly amazing, fun, exciting, entertaining, wonderful and relaxing. You should not miss this place especially if you have kids with you.

Walking out from the exit behind and yap, I was contented with the ride. Would I recommend this? Yes I am. If you are a thrill seeker, this is not for you though hehehe but, I encourage you to try for a change.

Visit Downtown Disney in Orlando Florida

Oh, it's a Happy #TGIF you all. How was your week? Is there any of your New Year's Resolution has been realized yet? Well, one day at a time makes a big difference so; keep doing what you are doing. As for me, I am moving forward and hopefully, everything will work out just fine. To join a marathon is in my list and I did wish to sign up in the Disney World Marathon Weekend but, it was sold out! The marathon started last Jan 8 and ends on Jan 12 so; better luck next year for me.

check out the shrimping boat named "Jenny" displayed in Downtown Disney.
Movie Magic!

Speaking of Disney, I was digging some photos in my PC files and I found these photos which I took about two years ago.


This is the Planet Hollywood Restaurant.
The price is a bit expensive but, if you travel halfway around the globe, it is worth a try.
Food is great and this place is always crowded.

There is a new movie of Tom Hanks "Saving Mr. Banks".
The movie is all about Walt Disney , P.L Travers and her fictional novel character Mary Poppins.
Now, check out the print around the balloon.
Yes, you can ride the balloon and see Downtown Disney up above.

There is no entrance fee to visit Downtown Disney.
You will enjoy shopping, dining, see a concert for free, meet a Disney character and more.

There is a cable attached to the air balloon and it's pretty safe.
For a minimal fee, this attraction is worth to try.

Downtown Disney has a huge parking lot and it's always full.
Despite of, I am sure you will find a parking space though and it's free of charge as well.

Your kids love to have fun so; plan ahead.
Check out the attraction and fun rides as well as free activities and crafts offered in Downtown Disney.

Don't forget to bring a camera and charge it well if in case you want to take a #selfie LOL.

If you plan to visit in the afternoon until evening, bring a jacket.
It's really cold at night and so breezy.

Walt Disney's #Epcot : Typical European Village

These photos were taken in Epcot, a typical European Village. We will be going to Disney World this week to see their Christmas Decors and I am hoping to see a Christmas Village in Epcot. Disney is just an hour away from our place but, the traffic going to Disney specially in this busy time of the year seems to be a big problem for us. This week, we will be meeting a client nearby Disney so; we will take advantage of the time being there. For now, I am sharing these pictures taken two years ago for Road Trip Monday.

One Disney Attraction in One Day

Hey, check this out! Can you guess where this is and what is this? I tell you, this place is cool. It may look scary but, it is actually not. If you plan to travel to #Disneyworld, do not forget to check the four parks but, do it  one park at a time. Hubby and I has a yearly pass so; we can go anytime we want in any parks we want. What we do, we go one attraction in a day. That saves the walking so; when we go home we are not that tired. I know you can't do that if you do not live here in Florida. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney

There are few attractions in Disney that I can't ride and won't ever try to ride. Tower of Terror is one. The name itself speaks volume of terror and I am chicken LOL.The picture below is one of the billboard advertisements of Disney attractions along the Disney Property. Anyway, while at Disney's Hollywood Studios, I was already on the queue and when I reached the elevator door, I went to the exit instead hahaha.

Tower of Terror is a simulated free fall drop tower thrill ride. If you like any adrenalin rush attractions, this might become your favorite.

Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Waterpark

Summer time is a scorcher here in Florida. It is my least favorite time of the year to tell you honestly. I know that most of you loves summer time. It would mean, vacation time right? Anyway, if you are in the Sunshine State for a fun vacation, include in your itinerary--- Typhoon Lagoon. It is the best place to bring your family and enjoy the cool water. They have the state-of-the-art wave pool where you can learn to surf and more. Check it out!

 

Magic Kingdom's Tomorrowland Speedway

One of my favorite attractions in Disney World's Magic Kingdom is the Speedway which is located in Tomorrowland. Acceleration is only 7 miles per hour around a scenic racetrack. This race car is gas powered and navigation comes easy through a guide rail. There's nothing to be afraid because this race car has a front and rear bumpers so; if someone hit the car, the driver is very safe.

What I love about this attraction is the place itself. It is designed to look like the Indiana Motor Speedway. It has backdrops of the motoring world with the Scoring Pylon, Gasoline Alley and the Yard of Bricks. It seemed that I am a race driver that day LOL.

Pre-schoolers can drive with parents on the passenger's side and there are height requirements to drive alone in this race car. This attraction is always crowded simply because it is fun and kids love the adrenalin rides like this.

Check out the long queue but, worth the wait.

The racetrack is interesting and yap, my car stopped in the middle of the racetrack. I was looking from behind me afraid that someone might bump on my car but, it started right on time! There was a boy who drives like crazy behind me hahaha.

One ride is not enough you know but, no one was allowed for the second time because of the long queue. You have to fall in line again to have another ride. I saw few kids did just that.

If you love fast rides, this might not be the fastest in Disney but, I can assure you that you will have a thrilling ride. Have fun and enjoy! Next ride? Try the Mad Tea Pary ride :-) my oh my, not my favorite. It made me dizzy!
