Magic Kingdom's Tomorrowland Speedway

One of my favorite attractions in Disney World's Magic Kingdom is the Speedway which is located in Tomorrowland. Acceleration is only 7 miles per hour around a scenic racetrack. This race car is gas powered and navigation comes easy through a guide rail. There's nothing to be afraid because this race car has a front and rear bumpers so; if someone hit the car, the driver is very safe.

What I love about this attraction is the place itself. It is designed to look like the Indiana Motor Speedway. It has backdrops of the motoring world with the Scoring Pylon, Gasoline Alley and the Yard of Bricks. It seemed that I am a race driver that day LOL.

Pre-schoolers can drive with parents on the passenger's side and there are height requirements to drive alone in this race car. This attraction is always crowded simply because it is fun and kids love the adrenalin rides like this.

Check out the long queue but, worth the wait.

The racetrack is interesting and yap, my car stopped in the middle of the racetrack. I was looking from behind me afraid that someone might bump on my car but, it started right on time! There was a boy who drives like crazy behind me hahaha.

One ride is not enough you know but, no one was allowed for the second time because of the long queue. You have to fall in line again to have another ride. I saw few kids did just that.

If you love fast rides, this might not be the fastest in Disney but, I can assure you that you will have a thrilling ride. Have fun and enjoy! Next ride? Try the Mad Tea Pary ride :-) my oh my, not my favorite. It made me dizzy!

Good Benefit When Working Online

Time is passing by so fast as I look at the date of this picture which was taken at Freeport Harbor in Bahamas. It's been almost a year now. Hubby said, we need to cruise again and I look forward for that moment. Next month, we will be going to Kansas City Missouri and we will travel to Branson. I heard a lot of good activities in Branson in fact, I am excited to see it for real. 3 years ago, I was hired to write about a 5-star hotel in the area. In two weeks time, I will be there.Anyway, I can travel anytime I want because I own my time and I work online. I am just enjoying the good benefits of staying at home while I work online. Vacation Home

We have had our mountain home for years and just had our family and close friends using it. We recently decided that we were going to start renting it out to people to earn some extra money. That is one of the easiest ways to get money because it doesn't actually involve doing or making anything. The only thing we have to do is correspond with the people interested in the cabin and send them the keys when their trip is coming up. We did have to make a few adjustments to make the cabin more appealing for people to rent. We put in a washer and dryer and added a few decorative touches. I knew a big selling point would be free internet access but I didn't know if it would be a possibility. I went to http://get.wildblue.com and found away to offer this. Now people on vacation can bring their laptops and upload photos of their vacation to Facebook while they are actually on their vacation! Maybe we will even buy a laptop to let the renters use while they are on vacation.

Epcot Disney Theme Park

When you see this landmark, you are in Epcot Disney Theme Park. The round object is the SPACESHIP EARTH which is located in Future World East. In here, you will re-imagined your future as you ride; observed the history of the earth from pre-historic times to present; play and create your ideal future. Epcot has the following streets: Future World East, Future World West, and World Showcase.The picture below is a ferry boat which you can ride for free to the different theme parks of Disney and it comes every 8 minutes. Other transportations are monorail and buses. If you stay from lakefront Disney properties such as Yacht Club Resort, you can access the ferry boat from the dock of the resot. This is the Internationa Gateway area in Epcot and the last trip would be an hour before the theme park closes.
When you are in Epcot, you will enjoy the streets of World Showcase where places will be transformed into the following countries: Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, The American Adventure, Japan, Morocco, France, UK and Canada.If you hate walking, this place will not be your favorite.
If you want to access the ferry ride back to your hotel, this is the place to go to.We purchase an all-year pass at all Disney Theme Parks so, on this particular visit, we just enjoy the Spaceship Earth attraction and we walk to the World Showcase.

Destin Beach in Florida

We love the beach. Since we live in the Southern part of the US along the Gulf Coast, the view of the beach is common. We live in Mississippi for almost 2 years so; we travel either direction to Louisiana or Florida, passing Alabama. This is Destin Beach in Florida, three hours travel from Mississippi but from Orlando Florida, it will take us 7 hours.I love these pictures. I am only using my Blackberry Phone. The heat was a scorcher but, the breeze was very cool, as you can see, a lot of people in here. This specific beach is private for men and women in uniforms and their family. Since my husband works in the army before, we were able to come in.Here, I purposely want this picture taken showing this condo-hotel building on the background.This is the famous Emerald Grande at Harbor Walk Village in Destin, Florida. The classic architecture of this building is truly beautiful and grand facing the harbor.Here we are at the second floor facing the harbor view.The beach at the far end, that's where we went for swimming and took that solo picture.Here, you can rent a boat and sail away, sight seeing along the coast.walking along the harbor, sight seeing , cooling down in one of their refreshment restaurant.Here is the beautiful view of the Destin Beach along the Harbor.Thanks for stopping by. Grand Vacation

The pictures below were taken when I visited L.A. It was a paid vacation and the only consolation that I enjoyed after working in the casino for 10 months. Every month, each employee is given a day off and I accumulated 10 days. Here I was with Filipino friends in California. Did you know that I have never seen so many Filipinos but here in California? I was like a child when we had grocery at SEAFOOD MARKET. (smiling...now :-)
Last year is blogging hibernation for me. I have been working full time and all the paid post offers were left expired. It was hard to keep up especially working on a graveyard shift. I swear, it was not easy! Having the opportunity of watching the beautiful sunrise as I go out from my workplace, was a great consolation. Sunrise reminds me of a new day... a new hope! For me, working in the casino was exciting... at first. It prompted me to quit working because of an incident happen. A lady co-worker (PUTI PO) was jealous because her boyfriend was attracted to someone else. That someone else is ME. YULK! They both have problems, they are OLD and ODD too. Anyway, I brought the matter to the management. There was no confrontation but, I feel suffocated! Then, I quit! I gave my resignation letter with a reasonable excuse that we will move back to Orlando.

I really did have a good time! I was able to talk Bisaya dialect for the whole time I was with my Filipino friends. Man! It was so good to speak my language!

I wish to go back to California and spend more time exploring San Francisco, drive around L.A and take more pictures somewhere in Santa Monica Blvd.

On Vacation

The chance of getting a long vacation especially when you are working full time is very slim. After I quit my job last June, I decided to enjoy life and treat myself with a long vacation. I do not do anything but, wander to any places that I wanted to go. Right now, I am having 3 months vacation in the Philippines. How is that for a change of routine? Do it! Life is too short to be wasted, LOL!

I love to take a river tour in the city of Rhône by boat. This is an eight-kilometer-long tour by a professional guide on the river of Arve. It has the six rapids, that provide excitement before flowing in the middle of Geneva.
How about riding in a 480 horsepower in a snow mobile? If you want to experience this kind of activity then, take the Pistenbully Adventure. The fantastic scenery will captivate your senses at Zermatt in Valais region.

I would surely like to have the adventure to Hof Hopfentropfen, the smallest brewery in Switzerland and learn to brew. The guests here can attend a brewing seminar and experience how this brewery makes their own special beer.

Vacation Houses in Florida

These pictures were taken last January as we travel from Florida to Mississippi for our Christmas Vacation in my in-laws. We decided to travel on the beach side of Florida. We are not in a hurry so, we took this route. It took us 12 hours to reach Mississippi but, its worth it. We stop few times to dine in the restaurants.

These pictures were taken as we travel at 40mph, so some pictures are not as good as it should be. My husband was driving and I am taking pictures. As you can see the above picture, the huge tree covers the house. These are beach houses and most of them are vacation houses, rented during summer and holidays.

Notice the high posts? These houses are facing the beach. If there are big hurricanes, most of these houses are wiped out but, rebuilt again.

I like this house because it has manicured lawn, huge and the beach is at the front. I like to live here for vacation but not for longer days. This area is like a ghost town.

See the lower buildings? It was damaged by Hurricane Katrina. The place is really enchanting but, hurricane season is the problem. This place will never progress because of the location.

Do you like to live this house? I wonder what the team of TAPS and Ghost Hunter will say...hehehe. Honestly, I love the beauty of this place. All of this houses were at the right side of the road and the front view is already the beach.

The Hilton Hotels at Branson

Branson, Missouri is known to everyone as the entertainment capital in the Mid-West. I was fascinated to learn the fact that this place has 49 live entertainment theaters that provide Broadway and concert shows. This is the best place to visit for families who loves to watch music and theater performance. The Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing and Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel are both located in the heart of Branson, Missouri.

My favorite attraction in Branson Landing is the numerous antique shops, boutiques and outlet malls in the area. Since I love to shop and take pictures, having this place as my vacation destination would be fantastic. I really wanted to stay in these hotels because I wanted to be near the entertainment action.

It will be more appealing to watch the sunset or the sunrise by the lake. In the morning, I will definitely visit the Wax museum and window shop in their boutiques. For this August, Acrobats of China will have a show and I love to see.

My Dream Travel Destination

I visited four states in the US so far and I treasured every moment of those travels. In my personal "bucket list", the country of Switzerland is included. Some locals will be invited to tell the mysteries of this place. This kind of activity fascinates me already.This is a very enchanting place don't you think? The ruins and the chapel make Tiny Île d’Ogoz, a captivating sight to visit.I love to explore the kind of life others do for a living. This vineyard in Mendrisiotto is a place that allows the guests to spend a day helping with the grape harvest. They call it vendemmia, a great activity that I can call adventure.The 4000 Peak Climb of this mountain is an activity that is very rewarding. The journey of the Allalinhorn is worth the effort because the top panoramic view is fantastic. This is an adventure that is worth trying for.To experience the thrill of ghost hunting in Zurich would be my last destination.
