Coin : Electronic Wallet

I am one of the many people who doesn't carry cash. ( I don't have cash anyway LOL ) Kidding aside, it is convenient for me to use my debit and credit  card so; if you want cash from me, I can't give you any. Awhile ago, I just saw this in the business news and I was wondering if anyone of you have heard about it. Coin. Yes, the black card below is called coin. This is an interesting innovation because with Coin, you can add all your credit cards, debit cards and gift cards into it. Basically, when you go out shopping and do the grocery, you only bring the coin and pay using the coin.

Here is the video that I found in YouTube to better explain what Coin is all about. Tell me, would you use coin?

If you asked me, I will use it with gift cards but with bank account, I may have to delay it for a year and see if people using it finds coin convenient or a big hassle. After watching the video, what do you think?

Apple iPhone5s and iPhone5c Craze

Okay, I am excited to get my iPhone5s in the mail but then again, I was in disbelief seeing the people all lined-up since midnight just to get a hold of the dream phone. Well, it has always been like this every time Apple product has a new series of iPod, iPad and iPhone. Nothing shocking about it! In this generation, Apple craze is a reality! There is nothing wrong to get it especially when people works hard and saves money to get the iPhone5c or iPhone5s. It all depends on the individual's priority. As long as you can afford to get it, why not right? If you can afford it but, you are not materialistic and to own an iPhone5c or iPhone5s is not your priority, I salute you! The need to save that hard earned money to pay the bills, to pay the daycare, to pay the mortgage, to pay the car payments and all, that is a noble act as a parent and I admire you for that. God bless your heart.

My phone for three years is Blackberry Bold and I love it. Just few months ago, I noticed that I find it hard to read the messages on my iPhone. The letters are blurry so I used a magnifier LOL. To make the story short, I need a phone with bigger screen. I have another smart phone, the HTC but, I do not like it. It is very slow. The solution for me is to upgrade my phone to Apple iPhone5s.
My husband cannot wait for the iPhone5s so; he decided to get the iPhone5c besides, it is offered to him for free so; he grabbed the opportunity. I told him to wait and order the iPhone5s instead but, he doesn't want to pay $99 for down payment. I guess it what he want. He was using a Motorola flip phone for 7 years LOL. Yes, it is time to upgrade and catch up the trend.

Apple iPod Touch 5th Gen: Brilliant Gadget

I bought an Apple iPod Touch awhile back and I did not enjoy using it so; I gave it to my brother. Besides, I have an iPad2 already so; I can do so much more with it such as music download and Social Media purposes. I don't miss it a bit! Now, iPod Touch comes up with 5th Generation and I am contemplating to buy or not. What caught my attention is the available color aside from it's brilliance of course. I prefer yellow and pink ... I was hoping to get a yellow-green or peach but, they don't have it.

Right now, Apple iPod Touch 5th Gen is on sale in most stores in the US ... like $20 lower if I buy it in Apple.com. The good thing if I buy it in Apple, I will get free engraving and free shipping until December 21. During Black Friday, Apple.com offers discount but, I was hesitant to order at that time. Too bad, if I order this gadget anytime this week, I will not get any discount. Come what may ... I might or I may not buy it.

Heavy Machinery

We were in a home store the other day asking for a quote on AC installation for one of our condo units. It was still working alright but just three days ago, according to our tenant, it does not turn on correctly and won't turn off either. We called someone to fix it but, if things come to worst, at least we knew how much we will be spending to install a new one.

Then, we head to the carpet area to buy a 12x12 carpet for our laundry room. We thought of buying the carpet with the longest in length so; we won't have to deal in cutting it. We will simply lay it down and are done with it. I was just amazed to see how the huge machinery was pulled out from behind the carpet display. The cutting of the carpet was done easy by just a click of a button. The machine rolled the carpet while the staff underlay a transparent sheet to keep it together. It was done in 3 minutes but, when they lift it up manually, the weight was really that heavy.

Thank goodness for the companies who supply this heavy machinery for they really respond to the needs of businesses. It would be impossible to sell heavy products without the help of heavy loaders and machinery such as TR 330 or winding reel. The machine that cuts the carpet in the store looks like the TR 330 where the staff just pushed it down and put it on top of the other big machine then, cut it. Well, technology and engineering innovations impresses me every minute.

The Safari of my IPAD2 was Frozen

When it comes to problems relating to gadgets and technology, I am not well-rounded. In fact, I have no formal training with computers. The irony is that I work online. So, every time I encountered problems, I have to ask help from my brother overseas or, refer to the manual. Just a while ago, the Safari of my iPad2 was frozen and I do not know what caused it. I surf online and look for a thread with same problem as I have. I was so thankful to find three options:
1.) I open the SETTINGS and click on the SAFARI. I did try clearing the data in my Safari's cache, cookies, and history but, not successful. Every actions I made, it won't move.

2.) Then, I tried closing the Safari completely and then re-open it. I did click the home screen, double-click the home button to bring up the task bar. I press and hold any apps on the task bar until they start shaking, press Safari app to close it. I also followed to touch any part of the screen above the task bar so as to stop the shaking and close the task bar. Not a good help.

3.)The third option is a reset so, I press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for few seconds and ignore the red slider. The Apple logo appeared and it closes the screen. I read that I will not lose any content so, I tried the last option. It works fine! I was so relieved! This option is the reboot for iPad2.

My iPad2 works fine! I hope you can fix yours easy. Good Luck!

A Gift to Myself

Okay, this camera arrived today. I like it alright but, I still love to own a DSLR either Canon EOS Rebel or a Nikon D5100. This GE camera is rated 5 stars and I will do the same. I have no problem with this camera. In fact, I love all the features and the price is only $128.oo which is unbeatable. I have two new digital camera that I seldom use because it's handy for me to use the BlackBerry phone. If I keep this for me, I might not use it that much. So tomorrow, I will be returning this camera and save for my DSLR.
