Thank You

Yesterday, I did my blog hopping to all the bloggers who leave comments and took time following my blogs. I was so enthusiastic that I stayed on my computer desk whole day. Then, one blog I can't open, it was reported for having "Tools" that can get important files from the computer to whoever opens it. I was alarmed!

Today, I was informed by Iris from thesearchforwellness that she had found the same warning when she tried to open my blog because of that blogger's account who is in my list still. I had to resolve the problem by deleting that name in my follower and I stop following that blog too.

Anyway, thank you Iris for the effort of telling me the problem. I hope you can access this page now without the alerts. MARAMING SALAMAT! Her blog talks about Wellness, check her out! You'll love the latest posts about her experience with ACUPUNCTURE. See you there.

Divine Mercy Hill

This is the Divine Mercy Hill, the statue and stairs are fully constructed. 5o ft tall statue of Divine Mercy can be found in El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental, Philippines.
The statue of Jesus is gigantic. Look at the normal statue of Mama Mary, it is so tiny compared to the Divine Mercy Statue.
At a close up look. The foundation of the huge statue is truly remarkable. The right stair is the white ray from the heart of Jesus. The left stair is the red ray flowing from His heart. Those were the water and blood significance.
The landscape view surrounding the huge statue.
This is a sacred place to worship. People who visit this place should give reverence . Women are encourage to wear skirt. If ever you wear jeans, the place provides a wrap around skirt to overlap the jeans and it is free.
The landscape at the far left end of the area. Wide stairway that is heading to the temporary/makeshift prayer wooden house.

My Little Friend

I would like you to meet my little friend. She is only 18 months old. She can talk countless words like mommy, daddy, outside, banana, food, open, office, light, baby, eat, puppy, milk, flower and many more. She loves to watch Wonder Pets, Pinky Doo, The Backyardigans and Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Friends. When she is watching her favorite show, her eyes are glued on TV (like this). LOL! So serious! Oh she loves this unicorn that her mommy and daddy gave her last Christmas.
She is a big fan of Dora and Diego. Since those are interactive shows, viewers like her knows when to dance, when to sing and when to answer questions. I had so much fun watching her doing funny tricks like these photos below. See the face light up with excitement? So adorable. As if she gonna cry of happiness. She was applauding actually. Pretty funny huh?
This is her face when she is doing funny faces. She is just doing that to entertain whoever is watching her. I never had a dull moment with her. She is so smart, sweet , jolly and an easy learner. Babies like her really is a charm for parents. She brings so much joy in the house.
This is my favorite picture. She said "Cheeze" and I just capture the moment! LOL! I can't wait to see her hair grows longer. She is so cute . Well, her mom and dad are equally gorgeous and very charming couple. They spent some quality time and showed so much love on her. Children needs that. If children surrounded with affection and harmonious atmosphere, you can tell a positive future ahead of them. So, salute to all the parents who are doing excellent job for being a mommy and a daddy. Cheers!
She talks in a soft tone that's what her parents taught her. And that is a good motivation. At this stage, good manners can be injected and it is an easy comprehension for them. She says "thank you" most of the time. That is so admirable. She learns to be patient when you say wait. She is definitely a happy child.

Let me share to all of you this poem about children and may you continue nurturing your child towards the Light of Goodness. God Bless You Parents.

Children Learn What They Live

If children live with criticism, they learn to condemn.
If children live with hostility, they learn to fight.
If children live with fear, they learn to be apprehensive.
If children live with pity, they learn to feel sorry for themselves.
If children live with ridicule, they learn to feel shy.
If children live with jealousy, they learn to feel envy.
If children live with shame, they learn to feel guilty.
If children live with encouragement, they learn confidence.
If children live with tolerance, they learn patience.
If children live with praise, they learn appreciation.
If children live with acceptance, they learn to love.
If children live with approval, they learn to like themselves.
If children live with recognition, they learn it is good to have a goal.
If children live with sharing, they learn generosity.
If children live with honesty, they learn truthfulness.
If children live with fairness, they learn justice.
If children live with kindness and consideration, they learn respect.
If children live with security, they learn to have faith in themselves and in those about them.
If children live with friendliness, they learn the world is a nice place in which to live.

Orlando Citrus Parade - Horses on Parade

Today, Capital One Bowl was aired and Georgia won over Michigan. This Parade was held as a welcome to the players of Football. Shown here are just horses on parade and one float decorated with thousands of oranges. I thought they will gonna throw the oranges to the crowd after the parade LOL. These oranges will be donated to the charity.
I focus the feet of the horses because they were so beautiful and they really were marching on the streets. Amazing how the handler made them to do these things.
The men and women in uniform. The unsung heroes of Orlando.
It was really a good sight to acknowledge the law enforcement of Orlando for keeping the peace and order of the city.
The Orlando Police Men. They are well-applauded on the parade. They deserved it!
This is their Mission Statement:

Keep Orlando a safe city by reducing crime and maintaining livable neighborhoods. The 1001 sworn and civilian employees of the Police Department serve the citizens of Orlando through crime prevention, criminal investigations and apprehension, neighborhood policing, involvement through the schools with young people and overall delivery of police services.

Such a young cowboy. The US flag waving high . I wonder if he got alternate to carry it? It would become heavier each minute. Try carrying a glass of water like that position for 2 hours. You will know what I meant. LOL!
Ryan Lochte ( sitting on the carriage) , a US Olympic Gold Medalist - He won the 200 Back in 1:38.49, ahead of Tyler Clary (1:40.85) and Team GB's Andrew Hogson (1:41.99). A Competition at the 2008 Short Course Championships, Ryan Lochte is Swim Star winning the men's high point award.
The men in uniform riding gallantly and waving to the crowd.
I will be posting more pictures of the parade next time. Enjoy !

THANKFUL - This is a day to glorify GOD for all the blessings of GOOD HEALTH. It is a positive source of all the things we do. We can work. We can enjoy life. We can do freely if we are in good health. Come to think of it. I thank GOD for keeping me, my husband and my whole family in the Philippines SAFE from harm and sickness. This is all that matters to me. I don't have a Christmas Photo to share with you. FUNNY! My pictures are all in my relatives camera. What I have posted are all the events I attended and I am always behind my camera. (sigh) But, these pictures are all taken during the Capital One Bowl Parade. My hubby can only manage to take one area and these are all I got.
I got good Christmas presents and I gave my hubby a home medics foot massage and a thermos....yeah, LOL! He kept on telling me he would buy one but ended up forgotten. So, I bought one for him and he loves it dearly. Maybe, he had so many agenda of it's usage. LOL!
My hubby gave me an mp3 with a digi cam and video recorder in it, perfumes and shoes. I love them all. His dad gave us a check.
In the Philippines, I witnessed the opening of gifts of my family. They gathered in my home. I always invited my immediate family either Christmas or New Year. It's a tradition for us already. Anyway, on new years eve, they were 21 including my mom. So, I was having fun watching them and they all had a chance to talk to me. Seems like I was there. Never a nostalgic moment. Thanks to the technology. Amazing science innovation indeed!
Happy New Year Everyone!
