The Mob at the Town Hall Meetings

With the rush of Health Care Reform by the Obama Administration, Republican and Democrats started to asked inquiries about the bill. During the town hall meetings across the nation, the local community in each town asked the Congressman and Senators about the Bill 3200. Instead of answering a direct response, the politician continued to what they had plan to say. People have common sense and they wanted to know about the Government's Health Care proposal. The community in each town had enough so, they VOICE OUT! Now, the Obama Administration called them- THE MOB. I will just keep watching MSNBC and FOX news to weigh the REAL Scenario and have my fair take on the issue. In the next few months, I guess JOHN and MISTY were right with their POINT OF VIEW before the election.

  1. It’s funny we hear Republicans say that they do not want “faceless bureaucrats” making medical decisions but they have no problem with “private sector” “faceless bureaucrats” daily declining medical coverage and financially ruining good hard working people. And who says that the “private sector” is always right, do we forget failures like Long-Term Capital, WorldCom, Global Crossing, Enron, Tyco, AIG and Lehman Brothers. Of course the federal government will destroy heathcare by getting involved, Oh but wait, Medicare and Medicaid and our military men and women and the Senate and Congress get the best heathcare in the world, and oh, that’s right, its run by our federal government. I can understand why some may think that the federal government will fail, if you look at the past eight years as a current history, with failures like the financial meltdown and Katrina but the facts is they can and if we support them they will succeed.

How does shouting down to stop the conversation of the healthcare debate at town hall meetings, endears them to anyone. Especially when the organizations that are telling them where to go and what to do and say are Republicans political operatives, not real grassroots. How does shouting someone down or chasing them out like a lynch mob advanced the debate, it does not. So I think the American people will see through all of this and know, like the teabagger, the birthers, these lynch mobs types are just the same, people who have to resort to these tactics because they have no leadership to articulate what they real want. It’s easy to pickup a bus load of people who hate, and that’s all I been seeing, they hate and can’t debate. Too bad.

  3. You're right about a few things Paul. That's how the Democrats win elections, they pick up a bus load of people who hate and make them vote. In all of my years, I've never seen as much hate projected onto a U.S. President as did the democrats with Bush. The democrats would find a way to blame a "poor sunrise" on President Bush. Obama consistently goes against our Constitution and blocks GOP involvement but you never hear about these things through the media. The media only reports what they want the "sheep" to follow. In regards to the military having the best health care, I firmly disagree with this statement. Many military members, including myself, would select a civilian doctor (not affiliated with the government) over anything the government has to offer, if given the opportunity. The government hires the lowest bidder in most cases and this includes doctors. Doctors that lose the ability to practice in the civilian sector can get hired by the government and they never have to worry about malpractice because we can't sue the government. I agree that the Republicans are going a bit overboard with the tea parties and the other aggressive acts which are usually reserved for the Democrats. After all, the Republicans don't have militant racists groups like the Black Panthers scaring people at the polls but they are stooping to the same level. I wish the Republicans could maintain the dignity and nobility that used to be the GOP trademark. I guess the stress of not wanting to become a Socialist/Communist country is starting to break down the conservative nature of the party and they are fast becoming mudslingers. Regardless of which party is in power, as a nation, we are moving in the wrong direction. As a taxpayer, I don't feel obligated to take care of those who refuse to take care of themselves. Welfare was originally created for the handicapped and look what the Democrats have turned it into over the years. I've actually heard radio ads promoting welfare. What is up with that? I think PRIDE and PATRIOTISM should be promoted first and foremost. GOD bless America. That's right, I said GOD.
