Watching Paranormal Series on TV

Now, this incident happens a lot hehehe. There are days that no matter how I tried, I can't concentrate to write. What option should I choose? Yep, the easiest activity there is. It's TV watching and guess what I am obsessed in watching? Ghost stories. I like to watch paranormal theme TV series. Before, I like to consume my time in reading Psychology and History books but since I need a new pair of glasses, I put reading on the side ... just for now.

How to Start Blogging

I started blogging in 2006 and it was like sharing inspiring quotes and stories that I read online with personal opinion embedded in the posts. Two years after, a blogger friend shared her ideas on how to monetize the blogs. After 7 years, here I am and still active in blogging.

If you are interested in blogging, you should create a free blog site via Blogger or Wordpress For at least three months, write something interesting to gain visitors in your site. I suggest that you focus on a niche blog. Whether you love photography, travel, food, parenting and family, just create a blog in that specific category. Social Media is very important so; each time you publish your post, share it in all your social media account like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Gplus and etcetera. After 3 months with at least 90 posts, you can monetize your blog by then. If you want to purchase a domain, it's only $10/year. There is a monthly fee for self-hosted blogs too. Goodluck!

How to Get the PR Back

You must be wondering why your PR was gone. You are not alone and I guess, we will keep on wondering why forever, LOL. Do not despair though. As I have said, you are not alone. I have a PR3 and it was gone as in O for a long time. Eventually, I made my way from PRO to PR2 and I just follow some advice of those who are techno expert.

1. If you love posting pictures, make sure you label it. The crawler loves to read words and not numbers of your picture. Paste the picture at the middle ... say, paragraph -picture-paragraph.

2. Make sure you have a healthy and family oriented blog. Mr G does not like nasty topic. I do not want to mention what are those bad topics either.

3. Too many sidebar links. If you have those, it can truly kill your PR and it is really hard to gain PR's. If those links will not do your blog any good then, take it out.

4. Write good articles and title should be searchable on the web.

5. Update is important too because readers will keep coming back and it's a good way for traffic. You might say, "how come my blog that I did not update in ages got a PR?" I asked that same question over and over again. I can't give you a scientific answer but maybe, the answer is on #4.

5. Delete links that's not working anymore. Say, the advertiser wanted you to take off the links from a task you have written for them, be glad. Take it off! Do not delete the article. Nope!

6. Lastly, just enjoy blogging. When I had no PR for 2 years, I got more tasks and earn good. I keep in touch with my readers so; they visit me everyday. Cheer up!

Blogging Blessings

I was just checking on the files of album in my USB when I saw these pictures. I forgot to inform you guys that I got this for free. I got this from a task given to me by an Advertiser for Microsoft Ad. I only use this gadget one time when I did the task requirements.

Actually, I like this gadget but, I have problems with the video tranfer so, I lost interest in using this gadget.It comes with a small tripod which I never opened.
This year is good for my blogging activity because I got this item for free plus the iPad2 that I won from sponsoredtweets. Awesome really.This task was the highest paid so far because I have the software,cash,and video cam which all totalled to $500.
I am a stay at home wife so, blogging is my only means to earn a little bit. I got so much blessings this year and I hope it continues for the next year to come. Happy Holiday everyone.

A Busy Blogging Day

I am in the mood for blogging and I am so productive today! The only set back, I only ate oatmeal and it's almost 3 PM now and I am not done with my tasks. I need to set aside my blogging business for now and focus on this Divorce Documents for my hubby's client. I need to segregate the documents which is needed for her case.
The client asked me how do I know which documents are needed and not. Well, I simply told her that I read the instructions carefully. So far, all clients are satisfied because they are happily divorce, hmmm.
What I am trying to say is that, all the documents that the clients passed to the circuit court were accepted and no problems. Ironic it may sound but, they are happily divorced!

Meeting a Friend at Disney

When one of my blogger friends invited me to meet up with her and family, I did not hesitate. I have no activity for the day and hubby was in the mood to drive me to the Disney Area. When we live in Mississippi, we tried to set dates but, we can't find the right time. I was working at night shift so, I am asleep at day time. They can't visit me in the casino where I work because kids are not allowed to get in. So, this time... we finally meet. I met Kathy and her beautiful family when they stayed at Swan Hotel. The place was gorgeous and I was able to grab three pictures before Fifi, her witty youngest daughter pleading to be with us on the terrace.From the fifth floor of the condotel, you will see this beautiful poolside down below. That gorgeous blue water and awesome pool design is just inviting for everyone to dive in. You can tell that it is huge because the people looks like a tiny needle down below. This is the view if you gaze on the horizon. A lake and the wide scenery of Kissimmee area and Orlando. This place is perfect if you want to visit Florida because you are nearby to almost everything especially the Disney Theme parks.The only negative for this area is the agonizing traffic. It will take you forever to get into the hotel. It took us 20 minutes to get into the hotel area. It is better to walk accross the street than drive, crazy huh? Other than that, this place is perfect. This is Disney so, traffic is really terrible everyday!The sun is still shining so bright at 6pm here in Orlando. Disney is just 20 minutes travel from my place. But, if you get into a heavy traffic, it will take you hours especially when you run into an accident zone. I was so happy that my friend was patient enough to wait for us. She kept me entertain with text messages LOL. It took us almost 2 hours :-( but, we came LOL! Glad I met her and her family! Awesome family! She is a good cook too! Thanks Kathy girl! You are the best!

Novice Blogger

I still consider myself as a novice in Blogging for three main reasons:

1. No Formal Training in I.T - I never had any computer subjects in college. I learned how to hands on the computer when I purchased my own desk top in 2005. I was reading a poem and I commented about her great work. She was a blogger who lives in Germany. Since I can't leave a comment without registering, I did create a blogger account. Because I do not understand about HTML, bandwidth and etc, I did not pursue my blogging activity on this platform at that time. The need to EARN forced me to LEARN few easy steps in blogging. And presently, I am still learning!

2. My English Professor in College said "I Can't Write"- Well, what happened was, I grew up without someone to guide, correct my grammar and etc. I was an average student and never had a failing mark too. In class, I was satisfied with a below 90 score well, I worked in the school library as a student. I was a scholar struggled to maintain a B grade which I did maintain up to 3rd year in College. I have an English Teacher who is a perfectionist and she speaks fluent English. She assigned us to pass a Term Paper and of course I complied. One day, she called me in her office and return my term paper. She then told me that she believed it's not my work! She said that the writer had minor grammar problems but, the term paper is written very good. She said she knew I can't write that well, for that (cheating) reason, she gave me a B- grade. Hehehe! I was thinking, should I tap my shoulder for the ghost writer in me? I laugh about it!

3. No Journalism Experience- As much as I wanted to write, I knew I lack the skills to be in a writer's guild group in college. A flat A grade in English is a tough one to get but, I got an easy A grade in Sociology and History subjects.

I can speak my mind through Blogging! People can scrutinized my work but, won't affect me at all. Their superficial superiority is good for themselves and with that, I care less. I don't write perfect but, advertisers hire me to write about their products. I don't get paid if it did not pass in their standard. So, I am happy with that. My greatest struggle to battle is really learning the skill of IT world. I should get me an IT course perhaps.  

Blog Hopping

I am doing my blog list revamp today! Therefore, I am doing my blog visit and left comments and just checking out the informative blog posts of Bloggers. I will be busy starting next week so, I am taking this time a fruitful and enjoyable blog hopping to other blogs:-) I love visiting to other blogs and leave a footprint! But, when I got hacked, I started to shy away from blogging! I was so furious that someone invaded my privacy! That happened Feb of last year and it took me more than a year to come back and become active in social media. Anyway, I am so careful now than what I used to before. Blessings in Blogging

I usually blog about my blessings in blogging to inspire stay-at-home "mums and dadda" to consider blogging as a sideline income generating hobby. That's how I consider my blogging activity. For me, blogging is a hobby which I can pour my rants and extend my raves about anything. While doing that, I am earning enough to buy an iPAD if I wanted to, awesome huh? The woman below is Paula Deen, one of my favorite Food Network hosts. I enjoyed her cooking show and love love love her southern accent especially when she says "y'all" lol.

My mom would be delighted to have all these durable, non-stick and awesome products.As I mentioned in my older posts, I love red colored kitchen wares such as pots and pans. Copying Others Posts and Pictures

I have a link in my blog which gives me a rundown of which pictures and texts were being copied. I am glad that readers found some topics that I wrote interesting enough as a resource. Most of the pictures posted in this blog is the property of the author. If you want to use them, kindly give credit to my blog which I would really appreciate much.

When I started blogging, I research for inspiration and guide via internet. I did pay serious attention to plagiarism which I learn from school and it is considered as STEALING one's privacy. If you copy others writing word for word, that is plagiarism. Take time to give the whole credit to the author to make it right. If you copy and paste then claimed that it's yours, it is not RIGHT and it is a mortal sin in BLOGGING industry!

So, make the effort to find inspiration from your surroundings. Time will sharpen your style of writing and it will be easy to write as it flows flawlessly from your system. Have a good day!

New Blog

I have been thinking to focus on blogging lately. As you can see, I have 4 blogs right now. Today, I made a blog titled MUSIC&INSPIRATION which I will be sharing my favorite songs. It will be about the music of my life and how it inspired me to live and love my life. I was watching EWTN channel at 2AM and it just dawned on me that each one of us struggle everyday. We felt pain and misery. Rich, famous, poor and outcast, all of us suffer. Looking back, I made a decision to stay happy and contented despite of the bumps of life. Did you know that when I am sad, I listen to sad music? Then, I reflect to the lyrics. I will cry then, I am refreshed! Yeah! That's odd huh? But, it gives me a positive outlook of life. Me and IZEA

I am very much happy and loyal with IZEA because since November, I was given so much opportunities. I had my blog since 2005 but, I never really imagine that blogging has money in it. Of course, you have to be 3 months active and at least have posted more than 20 to be able to join this company. I became active only last June of 2008. Yes! I know, what have I done with those 3 years huh?

I sent them my ticket informing them that I DID NOT do what I was accused of. They responded my ticket too late and the suspension was already lifted.

Blog Updates

Hello everyone! I woke up so late today...woooo. I was blog hopping whole day yesterday and updating my bloglist, I am not done yet. While blogging and blog hopping yesterday, the TV is on switching from one channel to another. I watched MSNBC, I love "Morning Joe" and switch to Fox News and at night, my eyes was glued on American Idol. Here is my POST about the Winner.

My garden- It is doing good. The flower garden is blooming okay. It is actually my Father-in-law's garden so I can't beautify it in my way. It is totally 95% better than the first time I arrived here. I will post some pictures later today. My vegetable garden, I only have beets, carrots, tomato, squash, cucumber and zuchini. I tried planting the water melon and cantaloupe. I am not familiar with the weather here but, this will be an experiment. It grows okay since it started with seeds.
