Online Marketing Using Google+ and other Social Media Platform

When a friend tried to ask me to help him regarding his Website, I was reluctant. He has an AC Company and has been in the business for years. To catch up with technology and the need of promoting his business via online, he created a Website. He admits that he is an expert when it comes to installing the Air Conditioning unit but with IT; he is in limbo and has no idea about online marketing world. His Website has a nice layout and he added relevant information with google+ photos. For the longest time, his clients were asking him about his Website so they could write a favorable feedback and probably recommend his company to their friends online. When he knew that I work online, he asks for my help. I did try to help him set up the social media automation tools but then again; I told him upfront that he needs a reputable company that handles SEO and promotes his Website to different Social Media platforms.
Online marketing is not only growing rapidly but; by far the new trend in marketing. No matter how great and creative your Website but then again; the visibility is minimal, your Website will always be in the backseat in the World Wide Web. Internet is the primary source of information in this generation therefore; to drive clients to your business is to let the people know that your business exists. What better way to achieve that, is thru online advertising. When a company gains traffic, it will definitely boost the business and thereby; achieving the desired business sales and revenue will surely go up.

When my friend decided to hire an online marketing company, he received more calls from new clients and his services are sought after because he is really good in what he do. Business is good so far and he is so thankful that the online marketing company he hired did a great job for his business.

Even though this is a sponsored post, all opinions and views are based on my experience and completely my own.

Animated Google Doodle: Celebrating Nicolaus Copernicus 540th Birthday

Have you notice something when you click the Google home page today? You probably saw this awesome animated Google doodle where planets move around the sun's gravity. Google celebrates the 540th birthday of Nicolaus Copernicus, a mathematician and astronomer. Nicolaus Copernicus who was born on February 19, 1473 formulated the heliocentric model which placed the Sun (not the Earth) at the center of the universe.

He is known as the great polymaths of the Renaissance, jurist with a doctorate in law, a physician, a quadrilingual polyglot (speaks several languages), classics scholar, translator, artist, governor, diplomat and economist. What an extraordinary man in his time.

How to Get the PR Back

You must be wondering why your PR was gone. You are not alone and I guess, we will keep on wondering why forever, LOL. Do not despair though. As I have said, you are not alone. I have a PR3 and it was gone as in O for a long time. Eventually, I made my way from PRO to PR2 and I just follow some advice of those who are techno expert.

1. If you love posting pictures, make sure you label it. The crawler loves to read words and not numbers of your picture. Paste the picture at the middle ... say, paragraph -picture-paragraph.

2. Make sure you have a healthy and family oriented blog. Mr G does not like nasty topic. I do not want to mention what are those bad topics either.

3. Too many sidebar links. If you have those, it can truly kill your PR and it is really hard to gain PR's. If those links will not do your blog any good then, take it out.

4. Write good articles and title should be searchable on the web.

5. Update is important too because readers will keep coming back and it's a good way for traffic. You might say, "how come my blog that I did not update in ages got a PR?" I asked that same question over and over again. I can't give you a scientific answer but maybe, the answer is on #4.

5. Delete links that's not working anymore. Say, the advertiser wanted you to take off the links from a task you have written for them, be glad. Take it off! Do not delete the article. Nope!

6. Lastly, just enjoy blogging. When I had no PR for 2 years, I got more tasks and earn good. I keep in touch with my readers so; they visit me everyday. Cheer up!

Protest Against Plans to Ban Online Piracy: SOPA and PIPA

When you used the google today, were you surprised to see the sensorship bar blocking the google word? There is nothing to worry and that is not a virus! Google is participating the protest against the plan to ban online piracy.Giant Websites such as Google and Wikipedia participated the online protest. The blackout is against SOPA ( Stop Online Privacy Act ) which is a House Bill and PIPA ( Protect Intellectual Property Act ), a Senante Bill.

There are arguments that these two Bills were too vague. Also, it will eventually give the government too much power to shut down Websites accused of copyright violations. Their concern is the "what if" the site accused will be later found as innocent, the harm is already done. Not only that, a lot of Website giants will be affected in some ways.

Anyway, I did try to put my cursor on the black bar and this came up: "Tell Congress: Please don't censor the Web" Are you participating the protest? Just curious.

Adsense Was Disabled

Meryl was asking me where are my Google advertisements....hmmmm, I was disabled. Before I join adsense, I have other friends who warned me about the adsense trend. They said that they were DISABLED when they reached the quota. Google won't pay if the account is disabled.

I did not listen. For more than a year, I let adsense appear in my blogs. Of course, my readers clicked the adsense ads and by doing so, it generate money for me. Two weeks ago, I had $103.00 and that was ready for pay out. My sister also scheduled to be paid on Oct.11. Guess what, both of us was disabled. I sent an email but they did not reply.

I joke about it with David. Guess what, it happened to him too. Was I mad? Of course I was! But, what can we do? That is why Google become richer by doing this thing to others. Was I still mad? It doesn't matter! In my mind, it is better to give than to receive.

Adsense is Working

Today, I received an email from AdSense that my account payment is put on hold. I thought I committed an error but, when I read the contents of the email, they just wanted a verification from me for tax purposes. I filled it up right away and when I submit it, my account was unlocked. Its a relief really. After blogging for a year now, I still have so much to learn about blogging policies and ruling.

With regards to my PR problem, I am still fixing the errors in my Webmaster's Tool account. This blog has so many errors, not with URL posts. All the errors are my comments URL. I don't want my comments to be searchable on google also. So, I tried to request to delete it anyway.

In my BUSINESS MATTERS blog, my errors is only 18-restricted by robots.text and not found URL is 3. There will be problems if we erase an article that we published. From more than 150 errors, it came to that. I was so glad.

This Is My Frustration

Does anybody here knows how to fix Google Errors? I am just cooling down my temper for several months. The blogging business seems fine when I decided to make it better. I bought a domain last February and change the layout and suddenly my PR was gone. It means, the rates of the offer flunk to the lowest amount. 5 Months and nothing happen.

Then, I tried to fixed the problem and read through WEBMASTERS TOOL. The robots can't crawl pictures, so I decided not to published pictures. I have all text most of the time. Then, I read through that we can publish pictures provided, there is a text like instead of downloading numbers ... jpeg 07800, should be "toys of my kid" or some sort.

Now, I did all those. No pictures! All Text! Post should be relevant. But, to my dismay still my PR is hard to get back. Yesterday, goggle crawl again. Guess what? ZERO PR and these are the errors:
  • NOT FOUND 4
  • RESTRICTED BY ROBOTS.TXT 69
How do I fixed these problems? I am so frustrated! In IZEA RANKS, I updated my account. My RR is 2577. From 800 to 2577 and Social Spark did not update my RR in SS. Therefore, it is ZERO since February. What does it mean? NO OFFERS!

I should not have touch my layout! I should not change my URL to a domain! BUT, why is it that others have no problem when they change their domain? They posted so many pictures and yet, they have PR 3? Yes! Since February, right after I have my new domain. I have this problem! Dang! This is my first RANT ever. Whewww! Oh, my adsense? Suspended too!

Do I have to change my lay out? Ask for a new verification code? Would that help?
