Music Inspires

Music inspires me especially when I'm sad and lonely. I just play my guitar or just messing with the piano using the iPad app. Doing those activities help me forget the things that worries me. I remember when I was in high school, I love to compose songs. The idea of having an instrument that helps me compose a song so easily comes to my mind after watching a musical film. I was a dreamer you know? As I grow older and even though my interest has detoured to another direction, I am still fascinated to own any technical software such as Push.

Love of Music

My nephews and nieces love to manipulate anything that creates sound. It could be a guitar, drums or keyboard; they just love to explore these musical instruments. When I was in college, I have a keyboard. It was from my father and even though I don't play with it, I keep it for years until my brother asked if my nephews can keep it. I just gave it to them.

When I was shopping at the mall about a week ago, I saw a nice keyboard on display in a music store. I was tempted to buy it and give it to my brother for his musically inclined children. I was torn between buying a korg keyboards from musicians friend or the one on display. I would probably ask my brother's opinion first. I am sure my nephews would be delighted to have it. After all, they already made a piano recital before so; having the new keyboard would be exciting. It could flare up their music enthusiasm even more.

Snapping Turtle on the Hallway

One morning, I openned the door to take our newspaper and immediately I was startled! This poor creature wanders the hallway of our condo unit. You can tell that it was so old and lost, LOL. It was really huge and we just left it there and in few minutes, it was gone. I thought they are slow? LOL!Here in Florida, anything can happen! No matter where you live, you can always see animals wanders around. So far, I saw wild deer, big snakes and in pair, rabbits, squirrels, ducks and crocs along the highway. But, this is the first time that I have a close encounter of a snapping turtle in our unit. Usually, I saw them walking along the road and some were not lucky, they got run down by cars.
We tried to feed the snapping turtle and we left it there. As long as it is not a snake or a bear, I wouldn't mind the animals living around us. Well, I just wanted to let you know about my experience that almost gives me a heart attack! LOL!

Musical Animated Turkey

Even though I am not fond of dining out for breakfast, I can't say NO when my husband drive down to Cracker Barrel. they will served the usual American food but, there's fruits to order so; I really don't mind. After breakfast, I would roam around the display area looking for new things that I might love to buy. Then I found this musical animated turkey which dances and play the harmonica. I bought this yesterday after we dine out for breakfast at Cracker Barrel.Last December, I was attracted to a Santa Claus that dance and sing a Christmas Song. My father-in-law bought it for both of us. This time, I bought this for my husband. In fact, he never saw me paying this stuff at the counter. I handed the bag as we went out the Restaurant.
This is truly entertaining and I was glad that my husband like it a lot. If you happen to visit Cracker Barrel, check out their display, you may find one that you like.
