Balikbayan Box in Orlando

If you are relocated in Orlando, Florida and wanted to send Balikbayan Boxes to your love ones, Just go to Colonial Drive and this is just along the highway, the establishment is called Philippine Mart.
The boxes price varies.....jumbo is $89.oo and the small is only $15.00 but, you can't send the small box alone, it should be together with the jumbo. If it's peak season, this prices would go up high for $20 more.

Paraiso (Paradise)

Just want to share with you about this powerful song ... I was in teary eyes when I saw this video and I credit it to Chapsbryan. It has a powerful message bro. Thanks. I remember it was sung by 4 young Filipino kids the Smokey Mountain and this is composed by Ryan Cayabyab. Now , sung by my favorite singer Lea Salonga.

I just wish that we could do something for PEACE of the world and FEED the hunger..... we start now and help our family, relatives, neighbors and friends. Change really start when each one of us strive to do it.

THE MESSAGE:

Return to a land called Paraiso,
a place where a dying river ends.
No birds there fly over Paraiso,
no space allows them to endure.
The smoke that screens the air,
the grass that's never there.

And if I could see a single bird, what a joy.
I try to write some words and create
a simple song to be heard
by the rest of the world.

I live in this land called Paraiso,
in a house made of cardboard floors and walls.
I learned to be free in Paraiso,
free to claim anything I see.
Matching rags for my clothes,
plastic bags for the cold.

And if empty cans were all I have, what a joy.
I never fight to take someone
else's coins and live with fear
like the rest of the boys.

Paraiso, help me make a stand.
Paraiso, take me by the hand
Paraiso, make the world understand
that if I could see a single bird, what a joy.
This tired and hungry land could expect
some truth and hope and respect
from the rest of the world.

International Drive

International Drive .... this is one of the busy areas in Orlando, Florida. Tourists come to shop in the mall, eat in so many restaurants and unwind in the parks around.
Tourists love the sunshine so, they usually park their car away and just love walking the whole area and it is very safe.
One of the parks in International Drive and from a distant, I saw a shipwreck with Captain Jack on it. Amazing landscape and playground.
Do you like Wyndham? It is all here too.
Food chain and restaurants are everywhere, so, you have all the options.
A huge hotel and I like this one because it is situated in the metropolitan area and when you are the guests here, there will never be a dull moment. Everyday is a holiday and it is just accross the street. Hoping you had fun watching these pictures.

Sky Watching

I love the sky. I don't know why but somehow it seems like I am having a "serenity" feeling by just watching it.
90 degrees angle ... the long bridge as if meeting the skyline. I see this picture in connection to our lives here on earth. We have goals to achieve and the only way to grasp it is to head straight ahead.
Well, just sharing the beauty of nature. Amidst our busy schedule, take time to see the sky and say, life is indeed beautiful.

How Do I LOve My Husband

This tag is given to me by Umma, a very pretty mommy who loves her two gems: hubby and baby YL. I am just so happy that her marriage is growing stronger every minute and that LOVE between them is soaring high. I wish you good health and all the wealth in the world dear friend.

RON is very caring and baby me a lot. I love him for just being there with me and for making me feel good all the time. I love him for loving me immensely. He is a good cook and he is my chef every time i crave for food. In return, i do the household chores....LOL! We are not perfect and we have minor disagreements but we manage to talk and communicate and that is very important for us. I always pray for his good health and safety and that matters a lot to me. I am so blessed for having him as my partner and I will be loving him as long as we both live.

Grossology Exhibit

Grossology
Orlando Science Center
has been in the industry since January of 1955 when the Central Florida Federation of Art and Sciences, a group of visionary Central Florida citizens chartered a small non-profit science museum which to be called the Central Florida Museum and Planetarium. It has come a long way since then. At present, it attracts nearly 400,000 visitors each year and it remains one of the most attended cultural institutions in Central Florida. Personalizing the guest experience by demonstrating how science impacts everyday life is its main goal.

On January 31, 2009 is the premiere of Grossology: The (Impolite) Science of the Human Body, a colorful and hands-on exhibit that uses humor to teach kids about health and biology sponsored by Arnold Palmer Hospital. This Grossology Exhibit - Orlando Science Center is in collaboration among Science World, Advanced Exhibits and Grossology author Silvia Branzei. Based from a book series by author Silvia Branzei, which has sold over 350,000 copies worldwide. She is a teacher, writer, curriculum designer, microbiologist and is a strong believer of teaching science through gross things and this theme runs throughout the exhibit. This is the second Grossology exhibit for the Orlando Science Center. The first successful run of Animal Grossology was held in 2006.

I recommend this to everyone specially kids and everybody who is young at heart. Grossology offers humorous "hands-on" opportunities to learn about the human body such as the nose which explores how your nose acts as an air filter, a smell sensor and a mucus producer. Then, there’s “Gas Attack,” a pinball game that will show you how food causes gas. You can mimic the buildup of acid indigestion with the “Burp Machine,” of which concludes each demonstration with a gigantic burp. They say that the possibilities for disgusting discoveries are close to endless. Fun, exciting , very educational plus you can have the chance to test your Grossology knowledge with multiple trivia activities, exploratory labs, puzzles and games.

You will really have fun. Bring your family and I will be seeing you there.

Vacation Houses on Highway 98

These are the beautiful vacation houses on the beach side of highway 98. Some were occupied but, majority isn't. By looking at these places, looks like a ghost town. Unlike summer time, the highway is so busy and these gorgeous houses are happy.
A little bit distant from the road and facing the view of the beach.
I like the privacy of this house. Very relaxing.
I don't mean to get that blue thing but, it did....LOL. Just look at the house behind it, glass windows facing the road and the beach.
This is hubby's favorite. The architecture is so unique and my mind just kept on wondering what's inside?
The huge tall pillars of the house. Take note, the house is at the other side of the road. Most of the houses here are designed to have house posts tall for safety precaution of the tall waves from the sea.
See the posts? And these one too?
Nearby of these vacation houses and cottages are little store and restaurant.
Wooden cottages. Kayaks. Beach.....truly a nice place to spend a vacation.
