Last Sunday, dawn time call awakened us: my hubby's step mom died at 87 years old. My hubby wanted to go home in Mississippi to be with his father who is left alone in the big house. We might stay there sometime next year whatever the decisions might come nextweek. I saw her last May when we come for a visit and she is on a wheel chair and always in and out of the hospital. I told my hubby to take pictures with us together but somehow it was taken for granted at that moment. We spent 2 days together and though she is not feeling well, she is a good hostess. My husband volunteered to cook for lunch and we had a grand time talking about just anything. Too bad i got to meet her in her late years. I will miss her dearly. May you rest in peace Mommy Lavon.

my condolences to your hubby. Time will heals.
Chrisau-yep...it will certainly...
May she rest in peace... this reminds me of my mother in law who died before I can meet her in person. We just know each other's voice when I was still in the Philippines and we called each other.
