Road Accident : Wheeww

Last Sunday evening we heed back to Orlando, we drove I-10 and this is the road at dawn time. Very foggy, 33 degrees ....When we are already heading to highway 75, a policeman redirected us to go to other road but, since we are not heading there, we tried to signal that we are heading to the left road. So, this is the scene.
Traffic. The road can only accommodate one from 3 lanes . There was an 18 wheeler truck lying nearby the bridge, totally lay on 4 lanes, 2 from each direction. So, It was a big mess. We were able to get through right away anyway.
Involve of the accident was a pick-truck, minor damage at the front, an 18 wheeler truck and a van who slam on the middle of the truck. I couldn't tell what happen but, I guess, the van did not see the truck lay ahead because of the fogs. Maybe, they drove to fast .... just maybe. Well, the bottom line here is that, when you are sleepy while driving so many miles, stop and rest to avoid accident. And don't drive too fast specially in foggy condition. Just a thought.
