By the Gulf Coast

I remember this day when the late FIL called the men in the family for a boating trip on the Bayou. He just bought a pantoon boat during the Boat and RV Show. I was not with him when he bought this. I could have told him to buy a smaller yacht instead (wink). He asked me if I like it. I told him, the small yacht is a lot nicer LOL. Oh, I miss him a lot!

Probably 10 minutes away from where we live is the East Beach and Front Beach. Every day after my work, hubby and I took the scenic route towards Ocean Springs Mississippi. I got out from work at 7AM, just in time for sunrise.

The view here is fantastic! Before we head back home, we always have breakfast in any of the buffet/hotel/casinos in the area. There are almost 10 but, our favorite place to dine are: HardRock, the Isle and Beau Rivage.

Satisfaction Buffet in Hard Rock Biloxi

We went out to Hard Rock Biloxi earlier for a lunch out. Johnny, Kathy, Emily, Ron and I dine in at Hard Rock's Satisfaction Buffet. The food is extremely great and the ambiance is wonderful. Emily is about 4 years old and she is charge FREE. Since today is Wednesday, we only pay 50% of the amount. Talking about good deal? Visit Hard Rock in Biloxi every Wednesdays and Fridays, and dine in at Satisfaction Buffet for $6 (lunch); Breakfast $5 and dinner $9. Add a tax of course. This is my first plate, lol. This is just my choice of food. You can choose Asian, Grill, Salads, Seafoods, Pasta and many more. For this day, I just need to eat sweet potato, fish fillet, mac and cheese, roll, corn, pork rib and fries.

What I have here is a crunchy chicken leg, shrimp salad, spaghetti with white sauce and a macaroni salad. Now, I am hungry again, hehehe. My dessert? Forgot to take pictures because I gobble it faster, oppss..lol.

The Eye-sore on the Beach

Few months ago, I posted this lone shrimp boat docked on the shoreline of the Gulf. It was reported that the ship was abandoned by the owner few years ago. It was just left there and considered as eye-sore by the locals.

The local government do not have the power to take if off the area. For so many years, they are trying to locate the owner but no avail. They even asked the help of media to publish and reached out the address of the owner.

Legal papers finally arrived with or without the consent of the owner. It was finally moved out and this beautiful long shoreline of Biloxi, Mississippi finally had a deep breathe.

Short Road Trip

We are in US Highway 90, heading to Hard Rock for lunch. We love to go there every Wednesday and Friday because of the deal they gave to those who are members of their Player's Club. Their meals during those days are 50% off. Imagine that savings! The two of us would only costs $12.82 for a lunch buffet. Huge selections like salads, soups, grill, asian and many more. Their bakery area is totally great. The food is simply delicious. If you travel Highway 90 in Biloxi during these Wednesdays and Thursdays, visit HardRock, get a players card and eat your heart out. Deal is deal!

Just a peaceful highway. You know why there are no cars? There is an accident ahead and the traffic was detoured. Anyway, the busy highway came back to life after two blocks.
