My Favorite Chinese Restaurant in Titusville, FL : #BuffetVillage

Oh Boy! Honestly, as I was downloading the pictures in this blog, I had to stop writing and head to the kitchen. My eyes are looking at this yummy pictures and I need to eat! It's now almost 10AM and usually, I am not hungry until maybe 12nn. That's me, I don't look for food but, if I did ... I need to just feed my tummy coz the growling won't stop, LOL!

Okay, I am back ... oh this sushi looks so delicious. I found out that I don't just go grab a sushi from a Chinese Restaurant buffet that we go too. I usually look around the place and if it is tidy enough. Not all Chinese Buffet's are pleasant to dine. Goodness no! In Titusville, Florida, the Buffet Village is my favorite. It is new and it has maintain the cleanliness. This is so far my favorite buffet restaurant in the area.

The price is right and the sign is visible for everyone before they go to the front desk to be seated. No hidden charges and the food selections are great. When it comes to the taste, I would say, everything tastes delicious. The servers are approachable and friendly. Few of them can engage a casual conversation.

They have crawfish here too and some clams. I usually have them first as my appetizer. Most of the time, their egg drop soup has a good taste. I enjoyed a bowl of egg drop soup and I have it together with a steamed rice.

The ambiance of the Buffet Village is alright and I love to be seated by the booth. The table arrangements are very good. It gives enough room for everyone to pass by. Most of the time, locals flocked here with family and friends.

Sometimes busses to/fro the Kennedy Space Center tours came here too. It will be a pleasant dining experience for them for sure. If you come here and so hungry, man ... you will enjoy the food in a heartbeat!

The Buffet Village is located near Target in Titusville. It is conveniently and centrally located in Titusville area. This Chinese Buffet is not crowded even if it is full with diners. If you happen to pass by the Space Coast area and you are hungry, you should come and check out this place.

These are my choices of dessert if I need to eat sweets. I love the friend plantain, a sort of beignet and an apple pastry. I can only eat one of each kind and that's it. I am not a dessert kind' a person so; if I can eat this, great ... I got my money back!

Look at this beautiful thing. How delicious is that huh?

This is hubby's choice of dessert. Awww .... too sweet except the water melon. How about you? What is your favorite dessert?

Do you eat clams and egg drop soup too?

Well, I hope you can visit this place when you are visiting Titusville and nearby area. I do recommend this place. You will surely like it!

Hunt's #Manwich : A Healthy Meal Solution

This post brought to you by Manwich. All opinions are 100% mine.

Full serving of vegetables in every meal is the basic and most important goal that parents want to accomplish for the family. For a working parent, that's a tough work don't you think? How can we balance being a loving parent and a busy career person? Is there an easy preparation to achieve that goal so that our family can eat healthy and most importantly happy with what they eat? I tell you what, there is an easy way through Manwich Recipes.

My husband loves #sloppyjoe's and I am so grateful for that because that simply means, easy meal fixes and healthy too.  Did you know that Hunt's #Manwich has a full serving of vegetables and no preservatives? And not ony that, Manwich is a healthy sauce because it has no artificial flavor so; it is really good and a healthy meal solution for the family.
 photo Manwich_zpsdbe02c8f.jpg
#Manwich has 3 flavors: Thick and Chunky, Bold, and Original. I really can't tell which among the three is the famly's favorite. The flavors are so good and we really can't tell the difference. Everyone agrees that Manwich is too delicious to resist. Today, I made a bite size turkey patties and sauteed the pattie with fresh red and green bell peppers. When the pattie was golden brown, I added the Manwich sauce. Oh my goodness, the smell is appetizing! Using the hotdog bun, check out the sloppy joe photo below. It's a yummy goodness meal that my husbad truy enjoys.
  photo Manwich_zpsb81beeed.jpg
I have a confession to make. I love carbohydrates and I eat rice a lot. A single bun is no good with my appetite so; everytime I make a sloppy joe for my husband, mine is in a bowl and I eat it with rice. That to me is a hearty meal and that makes me a  happy camper. And yes, I have a good appetite but, I am petite and weighs a 103 lbs. Don't be surprise! I just eat a lot and I simply like Manwich too.

Sweet Treats and Yummy Sweet Tooth Cravings

Today, I am in the mood to write my favorite sweet treats. As I have said before, I don't have sweet tooth. But, when I crave for something, I would go for it for few hours or days then; I am good for the rest of the week or month. This is Cheesecake and it has 14 varieties. I bought this cake at my favorite Wholesale Club: BJ's. This is Cheesecake Sampler Collection is made so delicious by Wellsley Farms. When I visit the frozen breakfast aisle at Walmart, the Toaster Strudel from Pillsbury is all I need. Oh my goodness, this goodies are really good. A 5 year old cousin introduced this goodies to me. Affordable, delicious and though it is a frozen product, the taste is like fresh from the oven. I do cook and bake in my kitchen so; when I crave of good foodies back home and there is no way that I can buy it here? I experiment and I got lucky with my Moist Banana Cake.It is so good and one of the favorite treats that my hubby loves to eat. The snacks that you see here is my afternoon snacks aboard Norwegian Sky Cruise Ship. Travel and food? Of course they go together. I remember the taste but, I don't remember the name. My coffee always has cream and it is so good. Most Americans love Cracker Barrel and wherever we may go in the US, we always find this Old Country Store and Restaurant. I love their store and if you are looking for your favorite childhood candy? You will definitely find it here. They have seasonal display of charming decors for Mardi Gras, Halloween, Fall, Christmas and more. Dining and a little shopping at Cracker Barrel? Delightful! This is a Breakfast Sampler and it has Low-Fat Vanilla Yogurt, Seasonal Fruit topped with Honey Oat Granola mix of Almonds and fresh fruit. I ordered Apple Bran Muffin and two sunny side eggs. Oh yeah, I ate a lot! It is very obvious that I love love love cheesecake huh? In Biloxi Mississippi, hubby and I dine a lot as in everyday. There are at least 9 casinos in the area and they offer unbelievable buffet in great prices. How affordable? You can dine at Hard Rock, Isle, IP, Boomtown, Treasure Bay, Palace and Beau Rivage for less than $10 and that includes seafood. Amazing huh? In Hard Rock, Isle and Beau Rivage, they have specials and when you dine during special day? You pay 50% off, how's that? Well, because I ate the regular food, I can only eat a slice of cheesecake at the end of the meal. Last but not the least, this is Teramisu from Olive Garden. This is a classic Italian dessert in creamy custard and espresso-soaked ladyfingers. Did you enjoy the yummy treats that you see in here? You should visit my Food Delights and Etcetera blog and I am sure, you will be drooling for more. Thanks for the visit guys. Mwah Mwah!

Chocolate Birthday Cake from Publix

My husband bought this chocolate flavored cake at our local Publix Supermarket. He actually ordered it the day before my birthday so; this cake was made especially for me. I am not a fan of cake and ice cream but, I admit that this is really a good cake. I ate three slices of this cake yesterday *wink*!
Two of our friends from Orlando came in to see us and we served them this cake and they love it. We just hang out and did our short karaoke then, played the bowling using the Wii ... such a fun day for me.

Business: Food and Restaurant Franchise

Are you planning to open a new business? People love to eat so; why not open a business in line with food? I am talking about Restaurant Franchises and to start with, consider the following: Quiznoz, Blimpie and Papa Murphy's.

You can own a Quiznoz franchise in less than 90 days because they have a program that doesn't require big financial qualifications and it's affordable. In- house financing is available and selling the Quiznoz product is not a problem because their food is craved by millions.

With Blimpie, your investment will start at $18,000 and this company offers financing as well as training and support. You can also start with $50,000 for Papa Murphy franchise and they offer financing too.

East Lake Fish Camp in Kissimmee

Every Sunday, hubby and I had routines. We go to mass at 8AM and go to a restaurant for a breakfast and it's either my treat or his. But, we have no plans which restaurant to go really. Today, as we drove down the road, we decided to go 15 minutes away from our place and we end up heading to a fish camp. The breakfast of this place is not my favorite but, if you go for the buffet on a Sunday, you can order all kinds of omellettes with your choice of cheese, vegies and spices. In the East Lake fish camp you can stay in the camp grounds with your RV's or rent in their cabins. There is a playground now which we didn't notice before and the whole area is surrounded with Oak Trees. You can ride a horse at $10 and have a boat ride and if you choose the air boat, they have that too. My friends usually dragged their boats here and have a boat ride at Lake Toho.
The whole place is nice with the feeling of in the middle of nowhere. But actually, this place is just near Disney World and just back of Orlando International Airport.
We dine in the restaurant and I saw the display of stuffed gator. This restaurant have so many stuffed animals as their main decor, a rustic ambiance and country atmosphere inside.
They have a breakfast buffet which costs $8.99/person with coffee and drinks included. Surprisingly, there were numerous people inside and lucky me, I met 4 Filipinos who dine in for breakfast too.
They came in the fish camp because they just came out from their church and one of them is a Pastor. The other man is a missionary who will soon visit the Philippines for missionary work. It was a great feeling to meeting people from my country who were very friendly. It is still a scorching day in Florida so; after the short breakfast rendezvous, we will be staying home and enjoying a relaxing Sunday! This is my entry for this weeks Travel Tuesday! Thanks for stopping by everyone.

Great Vegetarian Dishes

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of goviral. All opinions are 100% mine.

I love to eat! I can eat anything that fancy my taste buds. Back home, I can't live a day with out a hearty meat dish on my meal. That would simply gives me the energy for the whole day at work. That routine changed when we live in Mississippi. We had a free lunch in my workplace and we had variety of food to choose from. At first, I was so amazed to see all my favorite foods and sweet tooth cravings on display. Yet, as weeks passed by, I begun to pick only salads for my lunch. My choice of food works out fine because until now, I can't live a day without vegetables on my meals.

The fun part is that I can live with out meat dish in a day! I love greens and fruits which are healthy foods. I really did not make any effort to love vegetables in fact, I just love to eat "vegie". I am not a health conscious person but, eating vegetables makes me more healthy.

Sonic: Summer Favorite

The weather is very different here in the US compared to the Philippines especially during April onwards. It is very hot and humid as if you can't find fresh air to breathe unless when you are on the beach area or in a forested place. Since our country is located in a tropical zone, summer is hot but never humid. Since it is very hot these days, my husband and I prefer to stay indoor, on the beach and malls. The latest food trip that I have lately is chillin with iced frozen java chiller at Sonic. I always order the Special Trio with it. The heat is bearable once I have the chiller. At home, when I am so thirsty and melting with the heat, I have something to cool me down. I made myself a homemade Coffee Chiller with my favorite macaroni salad made by Amesh.
Despite of the warm and scorcher heat, I manage to chill myself with chillers. Beating the heat so far!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of HealthyTuna.com. All opinions are 100% mine.

Today, my husband made a quick and easy meal using a healthy tuna recipe. If you open your pantry, I bet you have a tuna so; make use of it now. Make a healthy meal for your family by this recipe which you can prepare for less than 10 minutes. You need chopped onions, chopped fresh garlic, mayonnaise and salt to taste. Mix all ingredients together and set aside. Make a toast and spread the tuna to the toasted bread and sliced it diagonally for presentation. This is how I want my tuna sandwich and it taste very delicious.

Pillsbury Toaster Strudel

I would like to introduce my latest favorite snack - Strudel ( parang bata lol ) . Toaster Strudel is a Pillsbury product and the flavor that I love the most is Strawberry. My little friend Emily introduced this product while I visited her in her granny's house. She is four years old and very witty. She likes me thinking that I am her playmate, LOL. Camiguin and Pastel

This picture is the White Island in Camiguin which is located in Northern Mindanao in the Philippines. Camiguin is a booming tourist destination in the Philippines. Photo courtesy from skyscrapercity.com
If you love crowd, visit Camiguin Island during Lanzones Festival. It is usually done during the middle of October every year. My cousin sent me a postcard showing lanzones in it and I was so delighted. During the Holy Week, thousands of visitors walk around the 64 km-circumferential highway as a form of sacrifice in fulfillment of a vow. It is a religious event which attracts the visitors nationwide and from other countries. The place is a good retreat to be closer with family and appreciate nature. Blue water, fresh sea foods and when you return home, take Pastel with you for snacking. My friend Eleanor sent me this picture and I missed it right away. We are just lucky that the bakery Vjandep is in Cagayan de Oro City too. This delicacy is famous in Camiguin and visitors take advantage of buying it as "pasalubong" for families

Camiguin is my summer destination since childhood. I have a whole clan living in Mahinog, Camiguin Province, and I love the beach and the fruit crops in this place. I am just having a nostalgic moment over Camiguin which this Pastel came from. I miss this food.

New York Pizza at Singing River Mall

Yes! There is a place called "Singing River" in Mississippi. I was wondering why it was named that way and how it derived its name? I was amazed with the name of the place and guess what? When we drove to that place, I was enchanted with the huge hospital they have. The landscaping is really beautiful. And you know what I remembered well? It was the group of ducks or swan walking in the middle of the traffic junction and all the motorists had to stop to give way of those lovely creatures, LOL. In awe, I forgot to take a snap, hahaha.
Anyway, back to Singing River again which I would like to share with you. Singing River Mall is located in Gautier area nearby Lowe's. I always describe this mall as "SAD MALL". A year ago, I noticed that most of the business establishments were closed. You can count the cars parked in the parking lot really and that was a scary situation if you own a business there. New York Pizza on the other hand is booming! I was thrilled to see people gather in this area and dine in. Some were ordering to go. My husband loves their Pizza. I love their bread sticks.
Lanky bread sticks, huh? The taste is heaven. If I missed Olive Garden's bread sticks, this one passed my taste standard. Eat it hot, so yummy. If you happen to pass by Highway 90 in Gautier, look for Singing River Mall and find New York Pizza, food is AWESOMELY delicious. Yep!Really!
