The #VBS Week

I devoted my time last week for #VBS and I had no regret waking up so early and preparing the crafts for the kids. It was a change of routine for me at least; I have things to do on schedule. There were about 18 pre-school children who sign up and belong in our group. There were 3 adults in our group and 6 volunteer students. They probably are in the elementary and junior high. Yep my bad, I never get the chance to ask them personally. Each one of them had to look after three kids in the group. We were in-charge of the crafts, storytelling and games.

In the Philippines while I was teaching the first graders, I have more than 50 students in the class and no one is assisting me. Although, I have some parents who volunteered to clean the classroom and maintain the immediate surrounding but whole day, the kids are under my supervisory. I never find it hard. 

Here, it is different and I guess, teachers here are more relaxed and can focus on their lessons more. They have assistant teacher per room of 15 children. I like it! Anyway, the photo above is when they have games. I will go over this week about what we did during the #VBS. Thanks for always visiting my blog. See you again.

Denver Broncos

Who would have ever thought that Denver Broncos will win over Pittsburgh Steelers? I was in a dilemma today because Pittsburgh Steelers is my first favorite team. They are the champion in Superbowl XLlll in 2009. In fact, Steelers won the Superbowl Championship for 7 times. That's an awesome record. In 2011, they are the second best during the XLV Superbowl Championship since Green Bay Packers defeated them. Broncos is the underdog. Remember, the quarterback of Steelers is Ben Roethlisberger, a well respected QB. Broncos has Tim Tebow who played as Quarterback not so long ago. A newbie in professional football and hated by atheists. Today's game is a living testimony that as long as the game is not over, there is HOPE and MIRACLE. The Broncos stun Steelers in over time and for 11 seconds, Tim Tebow passes the ball to the receiver and Thomas run the 80 yards and made the touchdown. What a great game. Let us start tebowing.

Just A Game We Play

I had fun times when we live in Mississippi for almost two years because my husband has a huge family there. The younger generation loves to play GAMES either in a console or online and they drag me to their activities. The teenagers are the ones who introduce me to many Dress up Games and all of us in the family loves to compete how long can we hold on to our position. It was just a game we play and we had fun memories of that. My father-in-law had this wifi ready 50 inch HD TV and everyone of us gathered in the living room to play. Playing games bring us closer and we had a good time. Every family should have a Quality bonding time and this is just one of those.

Wood Swing Sets

Emilia is my little four year old little friend who loves to hang around in their community playground. It is just 5 minutes away in walking distance from her home. She loves to run, would really go crazy as she play the slides and monkey bar.I was with her one time when her mom asked me to watch her beautiful little girl for maybe less than two hours. When she is done with all those adrenalin activities, she would sit beside me on the wood swing sets and eat a tasty snacks. What an exciting and fun day I had while watching her play. Her mother told me that they are planning to purchase a swing set which they plan to install at their huge backyard. Emilia was grinning upon hearing the good news! How to Dunk

I always love watching the latest advertisement on TV. Everytime there's an ad, I had this kick of admiration regarding the latest gadget and what's the trend when it comes to technology. We surely can sweat at home if we have the right gadget. Golf, baseball, and bowling are just few of the games that we can learn and enjoy playing at home. A good game that we can always play with our family creating a memory that could last a lifetime. Thanks to the wonderful technology and creative innovations these days.

89 Year Old Plays the Wii Sports

Wondering what he is doing? He is playing his new hobby and it's a virtual game played on his TV. The game is virtual bowling and this is his way of exercising.

And besides, he gets upset if he can't score. Golf on the other hand, he loves to play but, he gets discouraged once the ball hit the water hazard and gets kicked off at stroke 14. LOL!

Crazy With Wii Games

When my nephew Sam got his Wii Game Console, everyone of us compete for our little tournament. Would you believe that even my father-in-law who is 89 year old actively join the fun of competition? That is right! I will take pictures of him while he is in action. His favorite game is bowling because he always have a STRIKE hit. What game he hated? The golf! LOL! He was thrown out of the game after 14 strokes...LOL!
