Seattle #Seahawks: #SuperBowl XLV111 Champion

We are not fan of either Seahawks or Broncos but, since we like Manning, we were hoping that Broncos will win. Oppsies! What a disaster performance they had during #SuperbowlXLV111. They never recovered.

I have friends who are Seahawks fans and my goodness, they are so overwhelmed with joy. That means, the fans of Broncos were crushed to the ground in total disbelief. Well, there is always a loser and winner to every game. Let us congratulate the Seahawks for a well-deserved win. Their defense is extraordinary and they deserved to be the Champion of the Super Bowl XLV111.

Yoga Fitness to Stay Fit

Who doesn't want a flat belly anyway? I stay at home and I love to eat which are great recipes to gain weight and get a belly fat. To counter that, I exercise regularly plain and simple. I don't go to a gym because I rely on the fitness CD at home.

A friend asked me if it works and I told her that it does. If I am consistent to my goal, all I have to do is do the workout regularly. I bought an inexpensive treadmill for the abs which is so easy to use. I also bought the best yoga mats here as well as yoga workout CD.

The yoga fitness is hard to follow but, I am trying my best each time I play it. I am not getting any younger so; I should stay fit to get a healthy body.

Watching the Daytona 500

I have been wishing to watch car racing at Daytona International Speedway for years now. We live about an hour away from Daytona so; it's really not that far. Yesterday morning, I was checking on the price of ticket for Daytona 500. I was surprised that it was affordable. I was thinking to buy two tickets and see the race for the 55th Daytona 500 but, after seeing the accident, I had a second thought.
Danica Patrick is my favorite driver and I want to see her up close. Would it be cool if I have a souvenir picture with her right? It's not gonna happen this year because hubby said no already. Okay then, maybe next year. Are you going to watch Daytona 500 on TV? I am glued on TV for sure. Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy your Sunday with your family.

Big Crash at Daytona International Speedway

I was watching the TV when all of a sudden a flash of breaking news. There was a big crash at Daytona International Speedway and fans were hurt as flying debris flew over the grandstand. Kyle Larson's car flew into the fence (#32) and debris from his car including the tire flew to the spectators. A couple from New York was interviewed and they saw the man sitting infront of them was hit by a flying debris. Kyle larson and other drivers are safe but, 14 fans were taken to the hospital. I hope and pray that all of them are safe.

Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Marquez Third Fight

The most awaited fight of Manny Pacquiao (143 lbs) to his equally good opponent Juan Manuel Marquez (142 lbs) from Mexico is scheduled on Saturday Nov. 12 in Las Vegas. This will be their third fight and because I am a Filipino, I wish Manny Pacquiao GOODLUCK! Go Manny! Win the Fight! Reading the headlines in many newspapers, Manny Pacquiao has so many positive descriptions. He is known as Pac-Man just like the game Pac-Man eats the pac-dots through the maze and by doing so, Pac-Man goes to the next level. Well, Manny Pacquiao achieved the following: He is the first eight-division world champion and won six world titles as well as the first to win the lineal championship in four different weight classes. He was named as the Fighter of the Decade by the Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA) in 2000. He won three times in 2006, 2008 and 2009 as the The Ring and BWAA Fighter of the Year award.

Pacquiao maintain the WBO Welterweight World Champion, the Super Champion. He is rated as the number one pound-for-pound best boxer in the world by The Ring, BoxRec.com, Sports Illustrated, ESPN, NBC Sports, Yahoo! Sports, Sporting Life, About.com and more. Manny Pacquiao is known as The Destroyer especially to the Mexican boxers. He is the Fighting Pride of the Philippines, The Mexicutioner, The People's Champ and the Pambansang Kamao (National Fist).

RESULT ON THIS FIGHT BASED ON RING STATISTICS: Manny Pacquiao WON over Juan Marquez based on the following:
*Pacquiao has thrown 578 punches, connecting 176 while Marquez had 436 with 138 punches connecting.

*On jabs, Pac-Man had 304 with 59 connecting compared to Marquez's 182 with 38 connecting shots.

Super Bowl Super Party

Posted by Virgil Burks

Its time to get ready for the big game with a big party! Nothing is easier than hosting a Super Bowl party, simple foods, casual dress and good friends, mean everyone will have a good time. Inviting friends who are avid football fans is the first thing on the list, throw in a few others just for fun. After the guest list, its all about the food and drinks. The choices for a Super Bowl party menu are endless. Finger foods work well and require only paper plates and lots of napkins to serve them. Think about things like a variety of hot wings with dipping sauces, tacos, nachos and chips and dip. If you want to add something a little more substantial to the menu, but keep it simple, add pizza or hot dogs with all the fixings. If you are lucky enough to live in a warmer climate, try a barbecue at half time. A simple set up with burgers , hot dogs and a few cold salads make this a quick and easy party idea. Set up beer, wine, soda and water in a cooler so guests can help themselves during the game. Now you're ready to sit down and watch the Super Bowl on SATelLite911.com and throw the best Super Bowl party in town!

How to Dunk

I always love watching the latest advertisement on TV. Everytime there's an ad, I had this kick of admiration regarding the latest gadget and what's the trend when it comes to technology. Would it be nice to own the latest gadget with excellent features? Would it be nice to watch an NFL game on your cellphone? Of course, it would be great! It is handy and when you are not in the comfy of your home to watch it, you will not miss any game for sure. I love NBA games too. I use my cellphone or my netbook to look for the latest score of my favorite basketball team. I watch some videos in youtube on How to Dunk a ball as they exhibition in different throws. Having these gadgets while on the go made my life less boring. Real time news are just one tap of my finger and information is instant. Boring days don't exist when you have the latest gadget, right? We can play games and exercise at the same time at the comfort of our home too. We do not need to go out and exercise to become physically fit. We surely can sweat at home if we have the right gadget. Golf, baseball, and bowling are just few of the games that we can learn and enjoy playing at home. A good game that we can always play with our family creating a memory that could last a lifetime. Thanks to the wonderful technology and creative innovations these days.

New Orleans Saints Won

According to David:
"I think the Who Dat nation will officially sign a petition to break away from the United States to become their own official nation now! I guess their owner will be the president of that nation!"

LOLZ...not to be taken seriously...

Saints vs Colts

Okay, SAINTS is my team this year and I am hoping they will win the Superbowl. I know the COLTS is really unbeatable. But, if the Saints will play strong as what they showed with the Vikings, there is a big chance. February 7 is a big day and yes, my workplace will let us wear our jersey on that day. I am so excited! Who dat!

The Saints Won

The most awaited game of the SAINTS vs CARDINALS dated January 16,2010 finally over with a BANG! I was so glad that Saints finally scored a high 45 over 14 for Cardinals. The WHO DAT NATION is ready to party at New Orleans. They say that if Saints won today's game, the Mardi Gras in New Orleans will start tonight. I watched the game on and off because the schedule of the game is my nap time. I need it because my work is from 11 in the evening to 7:30 in the morning. Anyway, the game was so exciting that I screamed a lot. Tonight, I am so excited and proud wearing my Saints Jersey at work.

My Saints Jersey

If you visit the casinos every Sundays and Mondays, you will notice that the employees are wearing NFL Jerseys. This is the Jersey which my husband bought for me as a surprise. Both my husband and my father-in-law are fans of New Orleans-SAINTS. That is the reason why I have an NFL Saints Jersey.
Look at the price of the original Jersey below. This is a Reebok brand and made to the exact specifications of the National Football League. I never thought that Jerseys are so expensive. I look at eBay prices of Jersey and some of the original Jersey priced as high as $109. I was glad that I got this for free, thanks to my husband. I will never spent this amount for a t- shirt. I guess I am not that extravagant huh!

Men Loves Football

I do not encounter any American who does not like football. When my husband had a get together with his circle of friends, expect that they will talk football games all over again and again. Usually, they will call us to meet at Ale House in Orlando and watch the big game for the day. It was fun seeing the boys having the good time of their lives. A beer, a chat, a good laugh and a teasing statement would make a friendly cheer. My husband loves the Quarter Back player Brett Favre of Minnesota Vikings. According to him, Brett Favre plays well and he is from Mississippi like him and that makes him so proud.

The closest friend we have is Glen and he does not like Brett Favre at all and he would tease my husband all the time. Glen is a loyal fan of Pittsburgh Steelers and he would fly all the way to see the game live during finals. Football Season starts next week and it would be a blast seeing my husband and Glen having the cheer inside Ale House. I already told them to visit WaiverWire to experience a fantasy football online. When they visited waiverwire.com, they both love it and tour the Website right away. They are stuck in fantasy football news, football analysis and fantasy football forum. Not only that, it is a good platform to get the fantasy football rankings and comparison of players. Well, they said they will subscribe to that Website to have the access to local NFL team news feeds.

My Favorite NFL Players

Have you heard about the Stimulus Package from WaiverWire? If you are a football fan and loves fantasy football, here is your chance to get the Free Tool and enjoy the game. Check out the link and register for free. I am sure you have your own pick of favorite NFL players, right? My first favorite is Brett Favre, the number four player of Minnesota Vikings. He was born in Gulfport, Mississippi on October 10, 1969. He was the quarterback for the Green Bay Packers from 1992 to 2007 and in 2008 for the New York Jets. Brett Favre is the only player to win the AP Most Valuable Player for three consecutive times. You should watch his game, he is really good.

I also like Ben Roethlisberger, the famous "Big Ben" of Pittsburgh Steelers. He was from Ohio and was born on March 2, 1982. He was the AP NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and Diet Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year in 2004. At 23, he brought the Steelers to a 21-10 victory over the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XL. He became the youngest Super Bowl–winning quarterback in NFL history. The last but not the least is Drew Brees from Austin, Texas. He was born on January 15, 1979 and played as a quarterback in New Orleans Saints. He was the NFL's Comeback Player of the Year in 2004 and the Offensive Player of the Year in 2008. Why these three players are my favorites? I was influenced by my husband, my friend and my father-law. I got carried away every time I watched the games with them. Their records are awesome and they play really good. To know the research reports of these players in Fantasy Football, visit waiverwire.com/stats/players.aspx now.

2009 NBA FINALS Won By LA Lakers

Congratulations to all the fans of Kobe Bryant and LA Lakers team. Tonight is the moment of truth, LA Lakers won the 2009 NBA FINALS. The best of seven game ended at GAME 5. Obviously, since it was a 3 to 1 win in favor of LA Lakers, everyone predicted this will be the outcome. Orlando Magic scored 86 versus LA Lakers whooping score of 99. This is their 15th NBA Title. For so many years, no one beat this team yet. Thanks to their head coach Philip Douglas Jackson. Orlando Magic played well but sad to say, a no match to the skills and professionalism of La Lakers players. My team lost and it was sad. Better luck next time.

89 Year Old Plays the Wii Sports

Wondering what he is doing? He is playing his new hobby and it's a virtual game played on his TV. The game is virtual bowling and this is his way of exercising.
I bet you know what is the famous virtual game today right? You are "IN" if you played this game. Wii Sports is a video game that is popular today. It is developed and produced by Nintendo. You need a Wii Remote controller to provide a natural and realistic feel of the sports.
This is my father-in-law in action and playing Bowling. He is 89 years old and loves this game. Wii Remote controller mimic the actions of rolling a ball down an alley or bring the left jab. He is pretty good with that.
The other games aside from Bowling that he tried are Tennis, Golf, Boxing and Baseball. His favorite though is Bowling because he will only swing his arms and he gets comfortable once he got the Strike! Tennis, Boxing and Baseball needs more movements so, he can't keep up. And besides, he gets upset if he can't score. Golf on the other hand, he loves to play but, he gets discouraged once the ball hit the water hazard and gets kicked off at stroke 14. LOL!
