When I am at home, I am glued on TV as my favorite pastime. CSI is one of my favorite TV shows because I am fascinated as to how they solve the crime. They used cutting-edge scientific methods, lab furnace as well as old-fashioned police work. The show is always thrilling to watch especially when they are in the lab wearing their lab coat and using their high tech gadgets. With scientific evidence, nothing could go wrong and justice will always prevail.

American Idol's Gentle Giant Jermaine Jones Disqualified in the Show

According to the "hush-hush" today, no one can save the American Idol's gentle giant Jermaine Jones, not the judges nor the voting the public. He is disqualified after his grim criminal past started to surfaced on the news. He lied to the producers of the show and he did not disclosed his criminal past. Huge reasons for disqualification. Let us see what will happen tonight. If one Idol will be out, one will be called "you are in" right?

Filipino Talent Cheesa Laureta of The Voice

Here is another Filipino talent that we need to support Cheesa Laureta. She sang "When I was A Boy" during the blind audition for The Voice Season 2. Cee Lo Green was the only judge who pressed the button right at the last few seconds of the song. Cee Lo did the right thing!

On Battle Round, the chosen talents will compete against each other. For Cee Loo's team, he paired Angie Johnson and Cheesa Laureta to sing "Total Eclipse of the Heart". Guess what? Cee Lo chose Cheesa Laureta. Hoping she will get through to the finals.

American Idol: I Voted for Jessica Sanchez

Standing ovation by the 3 judges! "Jessica Sanchez is legit!" says, Randy Jackson! I couldn't help but smile! I have the reason to watch the American Idol 2012! When judge Steven Tyler was asked by Ryan Seacrest on who got the stand out performance for the night, he mentioned Jessica Sanchez first and the second....Jessica Sanchez! If you missed the #AI episode few hours ago, here she is, singing "I Will Always Love You", "one of the hardest songs in the world to sing", says Randy:

"You, not only the best vocal of the night but, I think you are one of the best singers in this whole competition! Oh my GOD! ...one of the best talents in the whole country...", words spoken by Randy Jackson. Jennifer Lopez was speechless and Steven Tyler said, "You may be the one!"

She is in the Top 13 of American Idol and if YOU will vote for her, she could win in this competition! Her mother is a Filipino from Bataan and her father is Mexican-American hailed from Texas. I am hoping that her confidence on stage will always be like what she had tonight. I will pray that she can always deliver a 100% performance every episode. I wish that she will win the American Idol 2012 but, if she is not destined, I am always proud of her! Mabuhay ka Kababayan!

Do you guys ever watch Dr. Phil? I never did before I went to http://www.cannonsatellite.com/ and got all these extra channels but now that I am I can’t stop – he’s just fascinating to me! It’s interesting how his show has changed over the years to have guests who are more along the Jerry Springer line than the classy line they used to be but hey, sensationalism works in this industry if you ask me. I think there’s something to be said for knowing your audience and going after it and that’s definitely what Phil has done and who’s to fault him for that? I love being part of his home audience and I’ve actually learned a lot from watching his program all these months. He says “do you want to be right or do you want to be happy?” and I think that’s a really good way to look at life – I try to deal with all my relationships along these lines because I think it’s a healthy way to be.

Amazing Race Winner for 2011

The finale of the Amazing Race ended well with Ernie and Cindy finished the first place and got the 1 million dollar prize. Sandy and Jeremy are the second team to check in when they spent looking for the clue box in the wrong place. Amani and Marcus came in third when they had a hard time completing the task using the flight stimulator machine.

Congratulations to the winners and I am looking forward (to watch ) the next Amazing Race in 2012.

X-Factor Simon Cowell vs Astro Who?

I was checking the Yahoo news and I saw the vote on PRIMETIME IN NO TIME ON FACEBOOK about:I'm so sorry but, I can't stand the attitude of Astro. He was booed by the audience and I bet, next episode he will be the next person that will be voted out. America does not want someone who has an attitude. Come to think of it, he is still the finalist and this issue will never make him good in the eyes of America. Astro thought that he is the best but, the whole package is not there yet. He needs people around him like Simon to pull him up to the ladder of fame and fortune. He is a NOBODY yet and he got the ATTITUDE? America will bring you down boy! Apologize and do better....I hope that America will forget that night! and....GROW UP, at least!

Marriage Proposal at Regis and Kelly Live

I am watching Regis and Kelly and I was totally entertained today. They are naturally funny and their team up is great, not the romantic type though. There's something in their personalities that click that is why the audience love their show for so long.The picture below is romantic. The man proposed to his girlfriend in front of the viewers of Regis and Kelly Live show today. That's something brave for a man to do right? What if the woman would say no? Just like what happen to the Bachelorette? Well, in this case, the woman said a big YES and a nod, LOL. It was very nice to see two loving couple.

It's good to see happy news on tv shows, right? Spread love evryone!

Destination Truth

I love to watch interesting movies or TV series such as Ghost Hunters, Psychic Kids and Destination Truth. My husband would classify these type as bizarre. For me, it is interesting especially Destination Truth because it is an investigative report of paranormal creatures that are said to exist only in myth and superstition. The picture below is Josh Gates, the team leader on their search for Aswang in Aklan Province in the Philippines. This is just a fun time where he tried to eat Balut, a boiled fertilized egg eaten by Filipinos.Josh Gates leads a group of fellow investigators and camera crew in his treks to various locations around the world. He investigates by interviewing witnesses, reviewing any evidence, and researching local history. Then, Gates and his team go into the field at nightfall attempting to capture first-hand evidence. The evidence gathered will be sent to independent experts, laboratories or academics in the US for further analysis. Anyway, the picture below is again a fun treat for them initiating their very first taste of balut.Destination Truth uses thermal imaging cameras, electromagnetic field monitoring\detection equipment, walkie-talkies to relay findings, backpack mounted cameras\microphone rigs, and hand held night vision systems. Their job is really fun but risky since they are doing investigative report. They probably have IT support services because they uses the latest technologies.

Amazing Race Episode 10: Final Three Teams

The unfinished business Episode: the finale for Amazing Race Episode 10 happened in Florida. The last three teams vying for million dollars are:

Gary and Mallory (father&daughter tandem), first time they join the amazing race, they were eliminated after getting lost in Oman for over nine hours. The first Amazing Race, they were eliminated and they are retuning for an unfinished business- Lakisha and Jennifer missed out on a spot in the final three by minutes after stopping to use the restroom in China. This time, they are "IN" the top three.The Globetrotters incurred a four hour penalty in Prague after failing to complete a Roadblock that is why they were eliminated on their first race. Casey Abrams Voted Out in Idol

Casey Abrams, the one Idol whom the judges save their only card was voted out this week. It maybe shocking for those who have him as their bet. Not shocking to me though! Casey has the voice, the charm and the style as he performs on stage but, he was not the tough contender for American Idol 2011. I admit that he was one of the best idols, so creative and talented for this season.

But, the fans has to say who they want! The viewers are the real judge! And popularity-wise, he lacks that which led him to stay at the bottom. The question is, who will be the next American Idol then?

The Biggest Loser

Don't get me wrong! I can't live without a TV, an Internet and my cellphone at home. Okay, enough with that awkward truth! Let me tell you about The Biggest Loser show that I have been watching from NBC. The contestants are truly HUGE and it's not a laughing matter! Being BIG has it's downside, health wise! They are huge and each one is aiming to become the biggest loser in weight!

I know that a lot of you have the same problem. Who doesn't love to eat good food right? My metabolism is fast, as what my friends say. Though I love to eat, I maintain my below 100 lbs. NOT REALLY! I have belly fats! You know why? I don't exercise and I am getting to be a couch potato. This is the moment of truth and I bet, everyone of these contestants started this way. We NEED to exercise and watch out our food! We need to SWEAT and get RID of the toxins out from our body! We should DO IT NOW! Not later and certainly NOT tomorrow! Avoid Procrastination because it won't do any good for your HEALTH! Watch the show so you will know how important it is to have a healthy body! DO IT!

My Favorite Animal Show

I've always had a fascination for animals. They can be so beautiful and horrifying at the same time. I can't quite imagine what it would be like if I were to ever meet something like a Rhino or a Giraffe. They are larger than I think I could ever imagine.

My favorite way to visit these far away animals is to do so through my satellite tv. I get tons and tons of channels that let me view animals in just about anyway I want. My personal favorite animal show is Animal Cops, which can be viewed on the Animal Planet channel. Animals cops isn't about animals who are cops. Rather, it's about cops who protect animals from abusive owners.

For example, one of my favorite episodes involved an old lady who hoarded cats. She had over 30 cats in a single story small home. They were feral and were not living in safe conditions. The animal cops came in and took the cats to a safe home with the permission of the lady. She wasn't doing anything illegal per se, but the animal cops care about their animals and wanted to help. There are also stories of bad people who have abused their pets and the animal cops take legal action against them. It's always a great feeling when a bad person gets sent to jail for abusing their animals.

The Good Samaritan of "Wish Ko Lang"

I love watching GMA Shows and I missed it when I lived the US for three years. I tried to subscribe a Filipino Channel abroad but, it was different. There is something about the KAPUSO channel that I love!

Today, I was watching an episode of Wish Ko Lang's Pangarap Tour : The Good Samaritan, on which the crew went as far as Cebu City. Anyway, I always watched this show with a heavy-heart but, in a good way. I admire the real people who always do good deeds to others without expecting any in return. Who would have thought that the ordinary man will be blessed on that day? All he did was grant a simple wish of an inmate ( portrayed by Elizabeth Oropesa) to give the doll as a Christmas Gift to her daughter. He took the doll and follow the address given with real effort of doing extra for others. I salute the man, a real good samaritan.

Roger Daltrey of the WHO

Here are some of the pictures I took during the concert of Roger Daltrey of the WHO. He is the singer behind the songs of CSI series. This is not a good shot because I am only using my cellphone. Remember I missed the other concert that I am supposed to be going? The venue is very nice and we are at the front of the stage.

Here is the vocal of Roger Daltrey in the CSI:NY intro. I am a fan of the three CSI's TV show and it's nice to know and hear the artist behind the song of CSI intro music.

The crowd was on their feet with his music. Since the venue is at Hard Rock, the bar is just at the rear end, so; some of the people in the audience were already drank and had a good time dancing. One of the guests passed out in front of me because of too much alcohol.

Well, at Hard Rock, minors are not allowed to watch the concert unless if you are with someone who is older. My niece is only 19 and she was given a bracelet at the entrance of the casino.

It was a nice experience really. The music is not bad at all. We get in for FREE because the ticket was given to Hard Rock patrons and my father-in-law is just one of the lucky ones who was given a free pass. The ticket was worth $89 for 1 hour and 30 minute show.

Catching Fish is Easy

Oh yeah, here is my favorite TV show again and I bet, this is your favorite too. Click the video and watch how amazing this vacation was. I would love to experience the same adventure since it's like this and no alligators (grinning).

I love truTV because it's real, entertaining, thrilling, heart-stopping and an eye-popping TV show to watch. I cannot help myself but get drawn into the scenario of the episodes. I usually watch it with my husband and we are so noisy because you will never guess what will happen next. Sometimes, I would just cover my eyes because some were too scary for me (wink). That is what I call, entertaining and fun. I want you to click and see this truTV video because you will be amazed with the moment captured in the film. Everglades in Florida at night is not exciting for me at all. There were pythons and alligators lurking in that place but, when I saw the fish jumping, I find it not scary at all. I had the fun watching the video. When the episodes are awful, you will get carried away with all your senses. When the real person acts stupidly, you cannot stop from nagging the TV, LOL! "Deadliest Catch" is just one of my favorite shows on TV. It captures the real scenario of the lives of those men who makes a living by catching the Alaskan king crab. It's a risky job because one simple mistake, they can be thrown out from the ship and swallowed by the sea. There were men reported to have lost their lives during the filming of that show. This time, truTV's Black Gold will be showing us the lives of men working in the oil fields of West Texas. They will have 50 days to drill the four back-breaking holes in Texas.

From the creator of "Deadliest Catch" comes the second season about the danger of the job in the oil fields of Texas. One wrong move can cost the jobs or the lives of these toughest roughnecks. Focus on the job is very important for these roughnecks if they are given an on-the job training on the oil fields. To avoid being yelled at or intimidated by their superior they should have common sense too. The job needs not only strength but also brains that function well. Danny Veltri Won The Hell's Kitchen Season 5

Oh my my! Danny my favorite won the finals for season 5 of Hell's Kitchen. Go Floridian! I am so proud of him. After reading his bio I became a fan. He is not intimidated with being a country-boy. He is so good in the kitchen. He knows what he is doing. Congratulations Danny!

Of course Giovanni, Ben and Carol were there to help him in the kitchen. It started well and he finished up ahead. Good Job!

Andrea, LA and Lacey helped Paula DaSilva in her kitchen and she had an Excellent service too. I like her restaurant design than Danny's. I really thought she will win the finale but, the guests were the ones who gave their ratings. Danny was declared the winner. Are you disappointed? I just like him to win because he has the talent in the kitchen. He had the years of experience to back it up.
