Unique House

This is a unique house, don't you think? By the look of it, the building is made up of steel right? I really don't know what's the composition of this house but, I sure like it because it is so unique. It looks like the house along the beach in Mississippi. I called it round house but, this building design is really called DELTEC. According to my cousin, all the materials to make a Deltec House is custom made, ordered from the company who make this kind of building and you can chose the size too. This is actually small but, the inside has an awesome plan. After the Hurricane Katrina, most of the houses nearby the water and the Gulf Coast are built on stilts. Stilt Houses are raised over the surface of the soil primarily purpose is protection against flooding. Anyway, this building design is unique and I like it.

  1. Quite interesting. I'm curious as to the prices for these types of houses and I wonder how they would hold up in a hurricane? I may have to research it. On another note, How have you been Amy? Are you still working? Keep the posts coming, I enjoy reading your blog.
