One Last Cry

I am in the mood for music today. I love this feeling. Music feels my soul as I lay in bed with my hubby long been asleep hehehehe.

I am still wide awake. Just listening to the music and I feel so at peace with the calmness of the night. I am a romantic and a sentimental person... in short BORING hehehe. When I finally heard this song by Brian McKnight, it reminds me of a woman's love story. Her story is full of love and heartache, exciting and too good to be real. She was in love with this man that she never met. They live so many miles away from each other. She was two years older than him. In fact, she was already working and he was a senior in Dentistry. Yes, they don't see each other hehehe. How would you measure LOVE anyway? Is it by mere presence? Too good to be true really. But, it's true.

I was consoling her when she cried because they fight. Fight? How? This man must have so much money to burn for calls. Imagine this, he calls her everyday. How many times? Almost every hour, checking her with what she does, how's her day and say good night. I was so envious with this girl at that time really...hehehe. They are lovers for 2 years. Yes! You heard it right. It is like a fantasy love story right? But, it happened. How could she not fall in love, they listen to the music together long distance on the cellphone. They write love letters, talking about old fashioned ha. They talk a lot of things including the future. Then,he plan to visit her after his graduation. He sent her gifts through Fed-ex. He gave her a life size teddy bear and they even have a name with it. Dang! So serious!

Anyway, their story ended with this song. I was there as a witnessed, consoling her to just let go when the phone rang and as I listened on the other end, Whewww....this song is all i can hear and his sob. Geezz...was it really for real? I ask that to myself too. Okay, he left to the US because he had to follow his dad and pursue a further study and eventually become Orthodontist. The woman? Still waiting for him. How sad right? Well, who knows...if they are destined to each other, they will be. Their story happened 8 years ago. Okay, I'm sleepy now. Enjoy the song.
