I Can Cook Too

I told Dhemz that I am spoiled to my mother being the youngest in the family. My mother do all the cooking but she showed me how to cook. Maybe, I listen attentively because I can cook here in the US. My brother loves cooking and of course, he don't mind doing it. We usually eat on the table with the TV around hahaha. When my aunt's family lost their house, they moved in to us. So, my family of three now become 10. Having them and 5 kids in the house was not too bad at all. I was in College when they move in with us and the 5 children grew up with us and we became a close knit family. Basically, my cousins are good kids and they too, even they are younger than I am, do all the cooking in all the meals. I am spoiled with them too. I just work/study on my college days with nothing to do at all in the house. I work at 7 in the morning in the library and in between attend classes. 7PM is my Glee Club Practice up to 10PM. Basically, I live most of my time in Xavier University Campus. They only time they see me is on weekends and the only days that I can rest. When I graduated and become a teacher, I become a career woman. I head for work at 6Am and went home at 7PM weekdays. No time to cook right? Weekends, my days to rest again. That was my life for 12 years. WORK! WORK! WORK! That is why, I was able to purchased my property after 2 years of working. I am a workaholic but I enjoy my weekends too, I hang out with friends, malling and bar hopping. I don't drink by the way. I just love to listen the music of my co-glee clubbers who become sigers in some of the big hotels in our city. Cooking? No time but, the pictures you see here, is just one of my cooking piece. My hubby loves it and my dad-in-law loved it more. I cook sometimes but my hubby spoiled me because he knows that I am spoiled by my family back home. The bottom line, I can cook hahaha...just don't have time to do it all the time.

I used to not have any interest in cooking at all and my mom would always want me to watch her cook. When I moved in with my Aunt's condo in Manila, one of her helper who was the cook in the house went home and the other left didn't know how to cook. So I was the one left in-charge in the kitchen which definitely freaked me out! I learned from it and since then, I love to cook. I watch Food Network a lot and I learned from it. hehehe.. Nice story girl Amy!
